$131^n=131.131.....131=......1$ (các số có tận cùng bằng 1 nhân với nhau cũng có tận cùng là 1.
Ta chứng minh $159^n$ với $n$ lẻ thì sẽ có tận cùng là $9(*)$
Thật vậy.
Với $n=1$ thì $159^1=159$ tận cùng là 9
Với $n=3$ thì $159^3=159.159.159=...1.159=...9$
Giả sử $(*)$ đúng với $n=2k+1$ với $k$ tự nhiên. Ta sẽ cm điều đó cũng đúng với $n=2k+3$
Thật vậy $159^{2k+3}=159^{2k+1}.159^2=....9\times ....1=....9$
