In John's class, there are 35 students, 16 students have sister, 18 students have brother, 4 students have no sister or brother. How many students in John's class have both sister and brother?

Gọi x là số học sinh có cả anh chị  trong lớp John .Ta có sơ đồ Ven :

=> (18 - x) + x + (16 - x) + 4 = 35 <=> 38 - x = 35 => x = 38 - 35 = 3

Vậy lớp John có 3 học sinh có cả anh và chị
