- Mẹ con Cám lừa ta đi chăn trâu ở cánh đồng xa, ở nhà làm thịt cá bống. Ta buồn khóc, bụt lại hiện lên mách ta chôn xương bống vào bốn chân giường. Ta ngạc nhiên nhưng vẫn làm theo.
- Mẹ con Cám không muốn cho ta đi xem hội, họ trộn thóc lẫn gạo bắt ta ở nhà nhặt. Ta uất hận mà khóc, bụt hiện lên, sai đàn chim sẻ xuống nhặt hộ, nói ta đào bốn chân giường lên có quần áo đẹp, giày và ngựa để đi dự hội. Ta sung sướng vô cùng.
- Đến nơi, ta đánh rơi chiếc hài và được phụ vương các con nhặt được, từ đó ta trở thành hoàng hậu. Ta ngỡ ngàng, ngạc nhiên sung sướng, không tin vào sự thực. Mẹ con Cám thì hằn học và vô cùng tức giận.
3. Tấm kể về cuộc đời sau khi làm hoàng hậu.
- Ở hoàng cung, ta được hoàng thượng vô cùng yêu thương, sủng ái
- Đến ngày giỗ cha, ta trở về nhà. Bị mẹ con Cám dụ trèo lên cây cau sau đó họ ở dưới chặt gốc làm ta rơi xuống sông, chết một cách tức tưởi. Cám lên thay ta làm hoàng hậu
- Quá uất ức và không cam chịu số phận, ta đã hóa thành chim vàng anh để vừa được ngày ngày hót vui bên chồng, vừa để chứng minh cho mẹ con cám sự tồn tại của linh hồn mình.
- Mẹ con Cám độc ác giết chết chim vàng anh, ta lại hóa thành cây xoan đào để ngày ngày được tỏa bóng mát cho chồng, mẹ con Cám độc ác đem chặt cây làm khung cửi.
- Không thể chịu đựng được thêm, ta hóa thành con ác trên khung cửi chính thức tuyên chiến với mẹ con Cám. Mẹ con chúng đuổi cùng giết tận, đem đốt khung cửi.
- Biết không thể dùng cách này, ta nghĩ ra một kế lâu dài. Thấy chồng mình hay dừng chân uống nước tại quán của một bà lão, ta hóa thành quả thị, ngày ngày bước ra quét dọn, nấu cơm cho bà, mong một ngày được đoàn tụ cùng chồng
- Cuối cùng trời không phụ lòng người. Nhà vua đã nhận ra ta qua cánh trầu têm cánh phượng, đón ta trở lại cung. Ta mừng rỡ khôn xiết, tình nghĩa vợ chồng được hàn gắn, những cố gắng, nỗ lực, sự hi sinh, sự đấu tranh kiên cường bao lâu nay của ta đã được đền đáp.
4. Sự trừng phạt của Tấm đối với mẹ con Cám
- Khi ta trở về, mẹ Cám vô cùng bàng hoàng và sợ hãi. Cám thấy ta trở nên xinh đẹp hơn ngỏ ý muốn được trắng đẹp như ta.
- Trước lời đề nghị của Cám, ban đầu, ta có ý định cho Tấm dội nước sôi lột da để cho trắng đẹp, sau đó đem làm mắm gửi về cho dì ghẻ ăn.
- Tuy nhiên, sau đó ta đã nghĩ lại, dù họ đối xử với ta một cách cay nghiệt, độc ác nhưng dù sao họ cũng đã từng nuôi ta, cho nên ta quyết định cho họ đi đầy ra biên ải để trả giá cho lỗi lầm
- Thế nhưng vì quá xấu hổ và hối hận hai mẹ con họ đã tự tử.

There are four people in my family: my parents, my younger sister and I. My father is a 45-year-old engineer. He spends most of his time in the building sites. That’s why he has a tanned skin. As soon as he comes home, he turns on the television to watch the news, relaxes for a while and then he takes a shower. In case my mother doesn’t cook dinner yet, my father is very happy to join hands and help her. Talk about my mother, she is a 40-year-old primary school teacher. After we leave home to work or study, my mother will have a quick breakfast and drive to the primary school. After school, she runs fast to the market, buys some fresh food and backs to home to cook lunch. My father doesn’t come home at noon so only three of us eat and talk to each other during lunch. However, the lunch is still prepared very scrupulously. In general, my mother is a gentle caring woman and sometimes she is very strict. I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard studying. Every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We are quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of a Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule has changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time with my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chores and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happy moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I love VN and people here so much and I hope foreign tourists will visit my country one future day.
