Tet is a national and family festival. Tet is the time for family gatherings. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

My hometown is Bac Ninh, where there is recognized intangible cultural heritage that is the folk song of them. Every year, on January 13, Lim festival is held in Tien Du, Bac Ninh. While the festival is going on, there's a lot of activity. Like other festivals, the Lim festival is divided into ceremonies and festivals. The ceremony is organized with traditional rituals such as worshiping and rituals. The new part of the association is the part that tourists expect. Tet holiday is celebrating on the fist day of the Lunar New Year. Some weeks before New Year, the Vietnamese clean their houses and repaint the walls.They also buy new clothes.One or two days before the festival, people make banh chung - the traditional cakes,and other goodies. On the New Year Eve, whole family for reunion dinner. Every members of the family should be present during the dinner. On the New Year morning, the young members of family pay their respect to the elders. In return they receive lucky money wrapped in red tiny envelopes. Then people go to visit their neighbors,some friends and relatives.

I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and Tet holiday in the city is very bustling occasion. Within a month before the Lunar New Year, the streets are very crowded, many people go out to do shopping and enjoy the holiday scenery. My parents are busy cleaning the house, and I am busy thinking about what to wear and where to go. Right after we have a break from school, my friends and I spend most of the time on Nguyen Hue Flower Street to take pictures. However, Nguyen Hue Street is not the only beautiful place, almost everywhere in the main streets are wonderful for people to have great pictures. They are beautifully decorated with bright lights, and the apricot blossom - the symbol of New Year's Day can be found everywhere. On New Year's Eve, my family and I watch fireworks from Sai Gon Bridge; we have to go there before nine o’clock to get a good spot. Early in the first morning of the year, we go to the pagoda to pray for peace and health, and then I accompany my parents to visit my grandparents and relatives. Tet is my favorite holiday because it is an occasion to enjoy the festive atmosphere, delicious food, and receive lucky money. I wish that Tet could last for a month.

Tet is the biggest traditional festival in Vietnam. This is an opportunity for people to enjoy a happy and relaxing period of time with their family and friends. There are some differences between Tet in the North and the South of Vietnam. In the North, the traditional food of Tet is Chung cake - a rectangular sky rice cake with meat, which is wrapped in phrynium. People usually buy the cakes with some cherry blossom branches as a symbol of Tet to decorate their houses. In the South, people consider apricots and Tet cakes are the symbols of Tet. Tet cake is also made from sky rice, and the inside can be sweet beans, bananas, or even meat. On New Year’s Eve, most families gather together to have a warm dinner and a traditional ritual in order to commemorate our ancestors. On the first day of New Year, youngsters will give their best greetings to oldsters and receive lucky money. In the rest time of Tet, people can go to pagodas to pray for good things, peace, and health. Tet is an important occasion for families and friends to be together after a year of hard work, and it can motivate people to try harder in the next year.

1. I have a best friend. Her name's Diệu Linh. Her age is twelve so she is in grade six and she is a good student.She has got a long, black and straight hair. Linh's eye is black , her eye very nice ! ....v .v ( bạn tự tả tiếp ) I hope Linh and I will is good friend forever !

1. That room of mine is not very large, just small and pretty. The room was on the second floor, next to my dad's office and next to the stairs. The wall of the room is completely painted in pink and white. Two colors that I love very much. And those two colors make my room brighter and lighter, more beautiful. There is a window in the room. From that window, I can see the backyard of my house. Every morning, when opening the window, the sunshine will flood into the room, making the small room bright. Every afternoon, the orphan wind will come from outside, through the sliding window into the room, so my room is still very cool even though it's summer. In winter, when the door is closed, it is extremely warm. Next to the window is my desk. A wooden study table designed by my father himself. The beautiful little table is where I study. Opposite the desk is the bed. Next to the bed is my bookshelf. In the room, the bookshelf is my favorite thing. That's where I neatly put the books of fairy tales, literature, history... that I love the most. After every stressful lesson, I choose a book for myself and go to bed to relax.

In the living room, there is a set of ironwood tables and chairs, delicately carved. There is always a lovely flower vase on the table, taken care of by her mother. In front is a large wooden cabinet, put vases, books, or small souvenirs. In the center of the cabinet is a large television that my father bought last year. To the right is a large window, overlooking the main street. Every weekend, my whole family will sit here watching movies, having fun chatting.
