Hello, this year I am twelve years old. I live with my family in a small lovely house on the outskirts of the city. Every day, my mother wakes me up at five thirty. The atmosphere is fresh then. At this time, some other families also wake up, they go to the market, do exercises, prepare the energy for a new day. I always water vegetables and feed chickens in the garden with my father. My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. I would like to talk about the Lunar New Year festival, also known as the Tet holiday, which is the occasion expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. The festival usually lasts for around 3-4 days, and it takes place when a new year comes according to the lunar calendar.
– The Lunar New Year festival takes place because it is one of the most well-known traditions of Vietnam. Our people have been celebrating this occasion for thousands of years, and although there has been some recent argument about whether we should stop celebrating this festival, I do not think this activity will come to an end soon, at least not in the short term.
– There are some common things that people do during this festival. Perhaps the most important thing is that people who work and study in big cities would go back to their hometown to celebrate the new year with their families and relatives. The new year festival is one of very few occasions that families can gather together, so it is easy to understand why everyone in Vietnam expects this festival so much. Another thing that we usually do is that we give children some “lucky money” with the hope that it will bring fortune to those kids. We also have some other activities such as making “chung” cake, visiting temples and pagodas… and so on.
– The new year festival is so important to me and also to all Vietnamese citizens. The reason is because we get more days off from work and study, and therefore we have more time to spend with our families and our loved ones. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year.

Last summer, I and my friends go to Vung Tau by motobike. we have two interesting days in Vung Tau city. We start my trip on 6h AM. after 1 hour, We get to Long Thanh stop stations. we have stopped there for 15 minutes anh drink fresh cow's milk. Then we continue my trip to vung tau city. after 1 hour we get vung tau city. many hotel and motel but we had to spend hard 1 hour to look up a hotel for staying. the hotel which we stay is a small nice hotel, from our hotel we can see the beach and it had a good view. Because we have a long trip by motobike so that we are very tired. after check in we only want to sleeping. I don't know, what do other peoples do but when I wake up and walk to outside. I see my friends drinking coffee. at that 2 o'clock PM. we have spent 2 hours for drinking coffee after that we go to the beach to swim. at the evening, we have a round in vung tau by motobike. verybody want to see vung tau by night until 10 o'clock we return back our hotel. and all night, we play card togethe. on the morning tomorrow. we walk to the beach and swim with the local peoples and anothe tourists. after that we go to coffee shop and chat togethe. until 12 o'clock we have lunch and 3 o'clock we come back to hcm city. we arrived hcm at 5 o'clock. we bye togethe. and end 2 interesting day in vung tau.

It is able to do work of many human beings alone within less time. It is the utility of highest efficiency. The first computer was a mechanical computer which was created by the Charles Babbage. A computer works successfully using its hardware and fully installed application software. Other accessories of the computer are keyboard, mouse, printer, CPU and UPS.
The data which we put into the computer using device is called input data and device as input device and data which we take outside using printer or the other device is called as output data and device as output device. The input data gets changed into the information which can be stored and changed anytime. Computer is very safe tool for data storage which is being used in various fields. We can shop, pay our electricity bill, water bill, video chat, messaging, e-mail messages anywhere in the world and lots of online activities using the internet.

Nowadays, Internet has become an important part in the modern life. Besides the advantages, it also brings about many disadvantages that no one expects. First, Internet is so addictive and time-consuming. Using it sometimes makes you lose your sense of time and easily deep in meaningless things. For example, when you start studying at 7 o’clock, you have intention of using Internet for doing homework but then you are addicted to the entertainment websites and can not stop. As a result, it takes you a lot of time to finish work and makes you lazier and lazier. Second, some social networking sites contain potential risks, because they are not strictly controlled. Some websites can report the false and reactionary information, other ones even can take advantage of your belief then make money illegally. Tet is a traditional holiday of our country, Vietnam.
It often begins in late-January and ends in early-February. With the meaning of seeing the old year off and welcoming the new year, Tet becomes a special occasion of reunion for Vietnamese families. At that time, all family members try to come back to their home and get together to make such preparations for Tet as buying new clothes and cleaning their house. A branch of apricot blossoms or a Kumquat tree is indispensable decoration for every family in these days. They seem like a fresh air to the house. We display a tray full of fruits and vases of flowers on the ancestral altar.
Some typical Tet's food are sweets, coconut jam, fruit candies, melon seeds, stew pork with eggs, and especially sticky rice cake. Tet meals are usually bigger and more delicious than our daily ones.
On Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. Adults will give lucky money to children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things for their family.
In my opinion, I like cozy and fresh Tet atmosphere. All family members gather and talk about resolutions for a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about anything.

1. My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

I always chat with my classmates or ask them how to do the math exercises .
