Tet, also known as Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, and candies are the foods that must have on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes. However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, people can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors. Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success. To Vietnamese, Tet is the happiest time of all year around, members in a family can gather together, which is a meaningful messages of Lunar New year festival. All in all, Tet is all about back to origins, be good to others, enjoy the precious moment, and wish for the best to come.

Traditional Tet is one of the most important festivals of Vietnam. Just like in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, so is the traditional New Year's Day. Traditional New Year's Day is called Lunar New Year or Lunar New Year, and is considered the most important moment of a year. The time starts on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the new year. The Lunar New Year usually falls between the end of January and the middle of February of a calendar year. I went to Ham Rong mountain. On the way to the top of Ham Rong mountain, it seems that beautiful scenes that do not belong to the lower world appear before our eyes as if we were lost in the royal gardens and then set foot on the Cloud yard, Heaven's gate. At Ham Rong mountain, you will feel like you are lost in a fairyland. Ham Rong Mountain is one of the most attractive destinations in the foggy city. On the mountain, there are many miniatures and many flowers blooming. The wild beauty of Ham Rong mountain combined with human hand embellishment has created a harmonious and colorful space. The road leading to the top is stone steps, shading both sides of the road are luxuriant green trees. This will be an opportunity to explore the landscape picture and many beautiful and strange flowers of Sapa highland. Especially the orchid garden with countless rare orchid species. Those rare orchids are transplanted and nurtured, carefully cared for here. With just one visit, I can never forget the wonderful natural scenery. It is of plants and trees with wild winds and attached clouds. Indeed, this is one of the places to hunt clouds that make people nostalgic and can't leave.

English is my favorite subject and also the one that I am good at, so many of my friends had asked me about the way to learn it properly. There is no compulsory method to study English, but each person has to find the suitable one in order to study it efficiently. I had discovered some of my own secret to learn it, and I had a big improvement since then. One of my hobbies is reading, and I choose English books to read in order to improve both my vocabulary and grammar. I read about the history, culture of England and the United States, novels of famous authors, and English news, all of them help me to gain a lot of new words as well as general knowledge. Besides, I never lose my interest in learning English because I know how to combine studying and entertaining. Instead of learning by hearts all the new words in boredom, I listen to English songs, watch English movies and try to translate the lyrics as well as the subtitle. By doing that, I know more about the different and the same things between English and Vietnamese, and it helps me to use English properly in each certain situation. I also connect with some international friends, and they are the best teacher to teach me about English. I can learn some slang, idioms, and things that normal teachers do not teach their students. Besides, my confidence in speaking English also increases since I spend time to talk on the phone with them. I feel that I have made more positive changes since I had my very own ways to learn English, and that is the reason why I think each of us should be creative in learning it.

Every day I have to study many different subjects at school, but my favorite one is English. I have been studying it since secondary school, and it still has been the subject that I spent most of my time for until now. At first I found it very difficult to remember the new vocabulary as well as grammars; however, I was lucky enough to have a teacher that gave me the way and the passion to study it properly. Instead of learning the words by repeating them, I try to use them frequently in certain sentences which relating to circumstances around me. Besides, I try to write my diary and other small stories in English so that I can learn to use the grammars. English is one of the main subjects at school, and many people have to study it to get a better job. Other subjects are what I need to learn, but English is the one that I can find joy in studying. It appears in many aspects of my life such as music, movies, books, or news. I can easily listen and get well to the American accent whenever I turn on the TV, and for me it is the easiest way to study. I know most of my classmates think that they will not meet Math, History, Chemistry or Physics once they graduate from high school. However, English is the one that will follow us forever, especially when we are reaching out to the world. I am so grateful that English is my favorite subject, and I will never lose the joy in studying it.

It can be said that supermarkets truly make our life become simpler and easier. They lie between the markets and the malls, so we can find almost all the things we need there with reasonable prices. They are very helpful and convenient. If we are too lazy or to busy to cook our own meal, we can go there to buy and enjoy the deliciously prepared food or canned food. If we think some of the goods are too expensive for us, we can always wait for a promoting campaign to buy the exact same thing with better price or enclosed gifts. After hanging around, we can stop by the entertaining zone to play some games or even sing some songs in the karaoke rooms. When we are too tired after going around the shelves to carry the goods home, there are always the delivery service that bring all of them to our door. Supermarket is such a perfect place for us to do our shopping, eating, and entertaining at the same time. It is so good that someone decided to invent such a convenient space, and people will never stop going there to buy stuff.

I like living in the countryside because of some reasons. Environmentally speaking, it is a peaceful place. The air is fresh. The space is quiet. We can enjoy healthy natural conditions without worrying much about environmental pollution. As for social security, the countryside is a safer place than a city. While urban security situation is always complicated with all kinds of crimes, rural areas are much more secure because most of countrymen are friendly and ready to help one another.Moreover, rural life is also easier that in cities. People in cities are easy to get stressed because of pollution, job pressures, competitions, etc ... On the contrary, those bad things are very rare in the countryside. To sum up, except income matters, the countryside is a better residence than cities.

My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusias and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.
