Tuần trước, trường em phát động phong trào thi đua học tập và làm theo Năm điều Bác Hồ dạy. Em đã làm được một việc tốt: nhặt được của rơi, trả lại cho người bị mất.
Trưa thứ năm, trên đường đi học về, qua quãng đường vắng, em nhìn thấy một túi xách nhỏ màu đen nằm ngay giữa đường. Em nhặt lên rồi vừa đi chậm chậm, vừa đưa mắt ngó chừng xem ai là chủ nhân của nó.
Một lúc sau, vẫn không thấy người tìm kiếm. Em đoán người đánh rơi đã đi xa hoặc không biết rằng mình đã đánh rơi. Nếu biết, chắc giờ này người ấy đang loay hoay tìm kiếm. Ai nhỉ? Một bác cán bộ hay một chú công nhân, một anh bộ đội? Trong chiếc túi này đựng những gì? Tài liệu, giấy tờ hay tiền bạc?
Bao câu hỏi hiện lên trong óc. Em đưa mắt nhìn quanh lần nữa. Không ai chú ý tới em. Em nghĩ là trả hay không trả? Nếu mình không trả, có ai biết đâu mà trách? Chủ nhân chiếc túi xách này sẽ mừng biết bao nếu tìm lại được nó. Nhưng biết ai là người đánh rơi mà trả? Tốt nhất là đem nộp cho các chú công an.
Giữa trưa, trụ sở công an phường vắng vẻ, chi có một chú trực ban. Thấy em ngập ngừng ở cửa, chú vồn vã hỏi:
– Có chuyện chi đó cháu?
– Dạ thưa chú, cháu nhặt được cái túi xách này. Cháu đem nộp, nhờ chú trả lại cho người mất ạ!
Đỡ chiếc túi từ tay em, chú tươi cười xoa đầu em rồi bảo:
– Cháu ngoan lắm, không tham của rơi! Chú cháu minh xem trong này có những gì để còn ghi vào biên bản.
Rồi chú lấy ra một xấp giấy tờ chủ quyền nhà, chủ quyền xe và hơn hai trăm ngàn tiền mặt. Chú ghi rõ từng thứ vào biên bản rồi yêu Cầu em viết tên và địa chỉ xuống phía dưới.
Sáng thứ hai tuần sau, em được thầy Hiệu trưởng và cô Tổng phụ trách tuyên dương trong tiết chào cờ. Tiếng vỗ tay nồng nhiệt của toàn trường khiến em vô cùng xúc động. Buổi tối, gia đình em tiếp một người khách lạ. Đó chính là chủ nhân của chiếc túi. Bác cám ơn em mãi và tặng em một trăm ngàn để mua sách vỏ và đổ chơi nhưng em kiên quyết từ chối.
Ba mẹ em rất mừng vì em biết làm điều tốt. Lời khen chân thành của mọi người đối với em là phần thưởng quý giá nhất. Nhớ lại chuyện ấy, giờ đây em vẫn thấy vui.

Vào chủ nhật vừa rồi đúng bẩy giờ bác đồng hồ đánh thức em dậy bằng một hồi chuông ngân lảnh lót . Không như những ngày nnghỉ lần trước, em phải dọn dẹp nhà cửa cho sạch sẽ để đón chào tết năm mới .
Sau một giấc ngủ thần tiên , em tỉnh dậy và bước ra ngoài sân hít thở không khí trong lành ngoài trời , những tia nắng ban mai rọi xuống , rắc phấn vàng lên mặt đất , như muốn đánh thức các bông hoa dậy . Những giọt xương sớm vẫn còn đọng trên lá . Trước hết , em tập bài thể dục buổi sáng quen thuộc . Những động tác mềm dẻo , bổ ích này khiến cho em thoải mái , thêm yêu cảnh yên tĩnh lúc bấy giờ . Sau đó , em xuống phòng làm vệ xinh cá nhân rồi mới ăn sáng . Dòng nước ấm áp chảy thấm trên chiếc khăn mặt khi rửa mặt , em cảm thấy thật êm dịu . Xuống phòng ăn , nhìn bát phở nóng hổi mẹ làm , em chỉ muốn ăn thêm mấy bát . Ăn xong em mang bát đĩa ra chậu rửa . mỡ rồi dầu ăn bám đầy trên soong , chảo . Phiên này , phải nhờ đến chị “ Dáp “ ra tay mới được . Chà , chỉ vài phút sau bát đũa đã trắng phau như đàn cò , nằm úp lưng phơi mình trên bàn . Chợt , mẹ gọi em

Đầu tiên em làm bài tập toán cô giao về nhà và chuẩn bị bài tập cho ngày mai . Thường ngày ,em làm bài tập chỉ trong ba mươi phút . Chà , bây giờ là đến các bài toán giao hóc búa . Chỉ có hai bài toán sao em phải suy nghĩ để tìm ra phương pháp giải . Sau một tiếng đồng hồ suy nghĩ , em giải quyết xong .Bộ ấm chén chiếc áo đã bị bẩn rồi , hơn nữa bã nước chè vẫn còn đọng lại một ít , phải tẩy sạch đi thôi .Lấy nước vào chậu , pha thêm nước rửa , em cầm từng chiếc cốc mà kỳ cọ cẩn thận. Chỉ vài phút sau, bộ ấm chén đã trắng sạch như vừa mới mua về. Nhìn nước trong chậu chưa bẩn lắm, em liền bê ra ngoài sân đổ nước để đất được tươi mát. Sau đó, em tu sửa vườn hoa cho đẹp. Đầu tiên, em xới đất cho tơi xốp. Mũi dao xỉa sâu xuống đất, làm cho nhưngx cây cỏ dại hết đường mà chạy trốn, sinh sôi nảy nở. Những bông hoa hồng được vun thêm đất như tươi hơn. Xới xong, em không quên tặng cho mỗi bông hoa một ca nước mát. Vườn hoa của em càng ngày càng rực rỡ. Khi đồng hồ điểm đúng mười hai giờ trưa, em nghỉ tay ăn cơm rồi chiều mới làm tiếp. Buổi chiều, công việc chủ yếu là dọn dẹp, lau chùi tầng một, tầng hai. Thoáng qua, căn nhà đã được mẹ em quét dọn từ hôm kia, vậy mà hôm nay đã như thế. Các tên bụi bám đầy trên ô cửa sổ và cả những đồ dùng khác trong gia đình. Sau khi em lau hết một lượt các đồ dùng ở tầng một, hai, xô nước đã trở nên đục ngầu khác hẳn với nước lúc đầu, khi còn trong vắt. Tiếp theo, em phải nhờ đến “tay nghề” của chị chổi đốt để quét nhà. Từng nhát chổi theo nhịp tay em đều đặn. Lúc chị chổi đốt quét xuống hết lầu một thì căn nhà trông có phần tươm tất, sạch sẽ và gọn gàng hơn. Sau đó, em hất rác vào thùng rác ở đầu nhà. Hết công việc này đến công việc khác, nó cứ đến như một phép màu kỳ diệu khiến cho em không thể nào từ chối. Chà! Thoắt cái cũng đã bốn rưỡi rồi, phải đi nấu cơm thôi. Em liền chạy vào trong bếp, đong gạo nấu cơm.
- A! Hôm nay có rau. Vậy mình làm món rau xào và trứng tráng. Bố mẹ sẽ rất thích đây mà. Khi cơm canh chín thì bố mẹ cũng vừa về. Tranh thủ lúc mọi người tắm rửa, em lên rút quần áo rồi xếp, gấp vào tủ. Trong bữa cơm tối, em kể lại công việc em làm trong ngày hôm đó. Ai ai cũng khen em ngoan và giỏi. Còn khi uống nước, vào trong phòng khách, bố khen em rằng:
- Đúng là có bàn tay của con gái “cưng” của bố! Con giỏi lắm.
Thế là một ngày nghỉ kết thúc. Và trong em vẫn còn một niềm vui lớn, đó là: “đã giúp đỡ được bố mẹ một số công việc, tuy không lớn”.

Even though we are not experts in gardening, we still try our best to plant things that we , such as roses and tulips, and we even grow our own tomatoes.
Whenever family and friends come to visit us, we invite them to have a relaxing time in our hot tub, and enjoy the view. So in other words, our garden has also become a kind of resort! It definitely requires lots of hard work to properly maintain the garden, but it gives us a great sense of accomplishment to “decorate” it the way we .
All in all, the garden is one of the best features of my home and it is a place where I can relax after a long day of work or during the weekends.

I have a big love for cats, and I am having four cats at the moment. Cats are not as active and playable as dogs, but watching them is also very interesting. All of my four cats are American Shorthair, and they are very beautiful. Just the name, they have short layers of fur which are not very fluffy with different colors. Their faces are pretty small in contrast with their big round eyes. In my opinion, their fangs are a little bit shorter and smaller than other breeds, but those fangs do not prevent them from catching and killing some of the biggest mouse. Their paws are very soft and cute, but I have to trim their claws once a month so they cannot scratch the sofa or even my face. I feed them with canned food for cats, but sometimes they feel the need to eat some snacks besides their main meals such as little birds and mouse. I love them very much, and they will always my best friends.

Cats are wonderful pets. They are very cute and sweet and very gentle too. I have many friends who have cats as their pets. Cats are bubbly and lively too. I also have a cat as my pet and I love her very much.
I have named my little pet cat as Lilly. She came home when she was a kitten. I still remember, she could not even open her eyes. We fed her milk and took good care of her. Made her a warm bed to sleep and a little bowl for her to have milk.
When she started to grow, we trained her for her toiletry habits and on playing with us. She is a very intelligent cat and understands very fast what we tell her. She is now big and walks across the lawn with all the pride that she could.
She plays with us and her favourite place would be on het mat, near the fire place in our home. She loves to be in a warm and cozy place. We have tied a small bell around her neck and so we know where she would be. She also loves the bell.
We feed her with milk and fish bones and other food items. She loves when we have something special made for her. She roams around lazily, but when there is a need, she is very alert and attentive. She is also a wonderful cleaner of other insects in the house. She loves to play with other cats in the neighbourhood.
She has two beautiful blue colour eyes and is light brown in colour. She loves to be pampered and loves brushing her neck all the time. While we sit at some place, she plays between our legs and she loves that comfort.
For any meal of the day, she specifically needs one piece of what I have from me and she comes to me anytime that I have my food. I love her so much and she loves me too. She knows my friends well and she plays with them too. Lilly is a lovely and sweet cat and we all love her very much.

Everyone has one’s favorite pet. As for me, I very love my dog named Pull. The dog is an Alaska dog with straight brown hair, blue eyes and big ear. He is said to be intelligent, loyal and obedient. Moreover, Pull is friendly and well-trained when I said “sit down” or “run around” he will do absolutely true. I remember the first day I have met Pull-my 12 birthday, he is a present given by my father. At that time, Pull was 2 years old, he was small and unfamiliar with my family’s members. Nowadays, he is an adult dog with good health and he seems to be one important member of my whole family. Pull and I usually have wonderful time together we eat, go shopping, walk in the sunrise and sunset, and play in a local park. As I’m the only child in my family, Pull is my best friend. Whenever I have trouble or whatever mistake I do, I always have him by my side. Although he is not able to talk, I feel the love and caring of him for me. Besides, Pull helps my mother much in household, he can hold a heavy bucket of water. Dog is not food; therefore I condemn the action of stealing dog by killing them with electricity in VN and selling it for some taverns. Dog is an animal for people to feed, love and care. Dog is not a product of any individual who wants to earn illegal money from it. Finally, it’s better for a house with a domes dog so that it brings happiness in addition to keeping your house save.

During childhood, I used to feed different kind of pet such as: hamster, dog, rabbit; however, I still my cat the most. Her name is Katy. Her hair consists of three colors white, black and blonde. She has tiny ear, small nose and blue bright eyes, which can glow in the dark. Her hobbies is playing with colors wool rolls and catching mouse. Katy don’t really cat food, she enjoy fish bone, rice and tiny shrimp. Although she eats less, she seems to be energe all day long. Katy and I have great time being together. She is my best friend as she knows how is my inside feeling and sharing my sadness as well as happiness. Whenever I am not in good mood or in trouble, I hug her and feel a cosy breath that sweep all the disappointment. Every evening, I take her for a walk in a local park so that we can enjoy fresh air and she makes more friends with other cats. Cat is an easy-to-feed pet as it is small, obedient. In spite of laziness, it helps us relaxing, protecting house from some insects. Cat is not new to people but its feather is used to make out many cat fur coat and other items of fashion. It is highly recommend that government create a strict law banning on cat thief. Finally, cat is a cute animal; therefore, it needs to be protected and preserved from being eaten and illegally killed.

Mèo không còn xa lạ với con người nhưng lông của chúng bị dung làm những chiếc áo lông và nhiều phụ kiện thời trang khác. Chính phủ nên ban hành những luật nghiêm khắc lên kẻ trộm mèo. Cuối cùng, mèo là loai đọng vật dễ thương nên nó cần được bảo vệ và gìn giữ khỏi bị bắt và giết trái pháp luật.

My father is a friend to me. He loves me at all times. He teaches me all the values and morals I must live by. And he himself lives by all the values. He believes in pracing what he preaches. So I find my father very honest. And he never finds it difficult to be that way.
My father is kind and generous. If anyone approaches him with a genuine need he helps them to whatever extent he can. And he never grudges any help he offers. My father is time conscious and punctual. He is strict with me because he wants me to be disciplined. Being disciplined is tough, but I know it is for my good. And so I always try my best to follow what my father tells me to do. Whenever I am in a difficulty my father helps me out with love and affection.

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

My name is Long and I’m a Vietnamese. I am twenty-four years old. I live in Ho Chi Minh city in the south of Vietnam.
I have a big family with six people. I have two sisters and a brother. My sisters are older and my brother is younger than me. My father is a teacher at a secondary school. He has worked for 35 years in the field and he is my biggest role model in life. My mother is a housewife. She is nice and she is really good at cooking. I love my family so much.
I’m a generous and easy-going person but when it comes to work I’m a competitive perfectionist. I’m also an optimis and outgoing person so I have many friends and other social relationships. I enjoy reading, writing and doing math. I decided to become a Civil Engineer because I have always been fascinated by bridges, buildings, and skyscrapers. A degree in Civil Engineering enables me to achieve my goals and also gives me an opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Five years from now, I want to become a project manager of a construction project. As a project manager, my primary goals are managing people, set budgets, and making decisions of all kinds. I also want to speak English fluently so I can work with people from different countries.

My mother is the one who I love most in my life. For what she’s done, she deserved with the whole world. My mother is a 43-year-old household wife. She’s tall, slim and especially she has a beautiful long black hair. She always smile thus everyone consider her a friendly person. My mom loves every members of the family with all her heart. She agreed to be a household woman instead of working out. My mother takes care of the household chorces. She wakes up earliest in the morning and goes to bed latest in the night. And during the day, she’s very busy. I remember once when my mother got sick so nobody did the house work and everything went to crazy. From then, my father and I join hand to help mother whenever we have free time. She’s really happy about that. When I was a kid, mom taught me to play piano at each weekend. I still remember the songs which includes many childhood’s experiences. Not only taught me to play piano, she also taught me to be a better human. I love the moral stories that she told me before I fell asleep every night. We’re really appreaciate mother’s effort, patient and her hard work to conserve the family’s happiness. My mother is an indispensable part of my life. When I grow up, I want to be a woman her.

My name is ........., and I am the only son in my family. I am ..... years oldt, and I am currently studying in ......... My little family has four people, and we live in ............ province. The house is always filled with my dad’s laughter, my mother’s warm voice and my sister’s playfulness.
My father is a retired police officer, and he is working as a defense education teacher in our local high school. Perhaps he had to due with years of hard training in the military; my father is finally comfortable to show his humor in the teaching environment. In the first look, he is a tough man; but actually he is very emotional and funny. Dad is a solid pillar and a great spiritual supporter for the whole family.
Un him, my mother is a gentle but strict woman. many other women, my mother always takes care and sacrifices the best things for us. She is both our close friends and tutor in study and some private problems.
My sister is going to be a high school student soon. She is doing very well at school, and she is always rewarded by the school. She starts to look a mature girl, un the little monkey that always sks to me the previous years.
This summer I cannot go home to visit my family and play with my sister because I am about to graduate. I miss them a lot, and I hope that all will be over soon so I can return home and work near my beloved family.

Bố đang hì hục cuốc đất. Với vóc người cao lớn, làn da ngăm ngăm nên trông thật khỏe. Bố quai những lưỡi cuốc chắc nịch xuống đất, lớp đất cứng được đào lên, cỏ dại không còn nơi nương tựa. Bố giũ cỏ rồi bỏ thành đống. Đôi tay rắn chắc của bố lại giữ vững cán cuốc, đưa lên rồi giáng xuống phụp, phụp! Chỉ một lát, khoảng vườn đã sạch cỏ, lớp đất cứng đã tơi xốp. Bố dùng xẻng đào những cái hố nhỏ vuông vức, thẳng hàng nhau. Lưỡi xẻng phăm phăm cắm sâu vào lòng đất, mạnh mẽ kêu vang, nó đánh thức côn trùng đang còn say giấc ngủ. Bố cứ làm việc, chăm chú khống ngừng. Hố được đào xong, bố bỏ phân chuồng vào các hố, rải lên một lớp đất mỏng rồi đặt 'cây con xuống hố sửa cho cây đứng thẳng và lấp đất lại, nện chặt gốc. Trồng xong bố dùng cọc tre rào xung quanh mỗi cây, sau đó bố tưới nước cho cây. Những dòng nước mát lành chảy nhè nhẹ vào gốc, cây con như vui mừng đón nhận. Nhìn bố làm việc, em thầm nghĩ đến ngày cây sinh sôi, nảy nở. Em hình dung khoảng vườn nhỏ này sẽ trở thành một vườn cây xanh tươi để hẹn ngày kết trái. Em lại càng thương bố hơn. Bố vẫn mải miết làm việc dưới ánh nắng mai hồng, bố cần mẫn tưới nước cho cây như để tiếp thêm sức sống cho cây con khi trở về với đất.
Bố làm xong mọi việc, nhìn lại hàng ngày cây xanh tươi vừa trồng, đối mắt bố ánh lên một niềm vui khó tả. Vầng trán cao của bố đã lấm tấm mồ hối. Chiếc áo cống nhân bố mặc đang thấm ướt và bám đất bùn non. Có lẽ bố cũng thấm mệt nhưng bố cảm thấy rất hài lòng bởi đã làm xong một cống việc có ích.
Bố làm việc vất vả để cho em được no ấm. Bố là chỗ dựa vững chắc cho cả gia đình em, bố là trụ cột vững vàng chống dỡ mọi phong ba, bão táp để bảo vệ em. Em nguyện ra sức học tập và rèn luyện để xứng đáng là con ngoan của bố.
