They want to bring happiness to poor and disabled children as well as boys who no longer have fathers and girls who no longer have mothers. They want to help these children be gone to school and teach them things which they usually learn from their parents. Besides, they take care of old and sick people because they consider them as their relatives and hope to help them pass over loneliness and sickness. They also want to their kids about humanity. They teach them to love and help others. Secondly, people do volunteer work because it is their interest in free time, perhaps.” Instead of listening to music or playing games….. we like to do volunteer works. It is really interesting and we can also help others.” Some people shared. Thirdly, some people do it because it is their work. These people usually work in voluntary organizations. They are paid for it. The fourth reason, people who not only want to help but they also train their ability in activities of society, do volunteer work. They think it can both help others and train themselves. They also find out friends or people who have sympathy with them. Finally, above all things, people do volunteer work because they think that the happiest people in the world are those who help to bring happiness to other

Like fashion, hobbies change with the times. In our days, a lot of hobbies use technology: we take digital photos and post them online and children play computer games. But what did people use to do before this technology? Let's take a look at some hobbies that were popular more than 100 years ago. Many of the sports that we play today were popular in the past, too. Football bacame popular and had rules for the first time in the 19th century. Many football clubs were started by employers, so that workers could play and stay fit. Football was a man sports but both men and women played other sports, like tennis and croquet. Unfortunately, the long skirts worn at that time didn't help women with their games at all ! Many girls and women spent their spare times doing sewing and embroidery. They used a needle and thread to make tiny stitches on a piece of fabric. They made clothes and accessories such as scarver and gloves. They also made home decorations. They created beautiful pictures of flowers, birds and other patterns. They also used to embroider cushions, tablecloths and rugs.

Girls in the 19th century used to play with dolls's houses. At that time, toys were handmade. The doll's heads were often made of china and the bodies were made of wood. Rocking horses were also very popular. They were made of wood and their tails were made of real horsehair. Boys used to play with toys trains and raiways.

Finally, people in the 19th century loved nature, so one popular hobby was collecting and drawing butterflies. People used to catch butterflies in nets and fix them on special boards with pins. They used to draw pictures that showed all the details and colours of the beautiful insects.

Past or present, hobbies are a great way to pass the time. They help us show our creativity and used our imagination.
