Being a summer volunteer is one of the good things we can do in our student time. Instead of wasting our time playing games or wandering with our friends, we can join the Blue Summer campaign at schools. By doing so, we can become young volunteers to help people who are in need. I always remember last summer when our volunteer team had been to a poor countryside. That place even lacked of clean water and electricity, while in many other places people are wasting them. After a day of resting, we started to clean up the old school together, attended in the project of reconstructing a number of local bridges which funded by donors. We lived in some of the houses of the local people, and we spent time doing house chores, playing, and eating together. Although their lives are lacking of materials, their hearts are full of love and kindness. We helped them with our strength and the ebullient spirit of youth, and in return they took care of us so we could be safe and happy while we were away from home. After a month and a half, we successfully restored an old school and one bridge, and we built one more small new bridge. These things really helped children at that place had a better educational environment, and people had an easier road to go to work. Local people were very excited with those new constructions, and we promised to come back next summer to bring better things. When the volunteer trip ended, my parents were very happy when I came back home safely. I felt so proud of myself because I could prove that I was a mature person by helping other people. Summer is coming soon, and I cannot wait to be on my next volunteer trip together with my friends.

elephant race festival
Now , I am going to tell you how the elephant race festival was held .
Elephant race festival was held in Don village on dak lak provice near Serepok river .
There were 3 competions in the festival : timber-pulling,ball-kicking and elephant running
In the timber-pulling contest , each elephant with its owner tried hard to pull a big timber .The elephant reaching the finish fist was the winner
In the ball kicking contest , elephants tried to kick the balls into the goal
In the elephant running competion , the elephant with its owner had to pass through serepok river , then ran about 300 m

I have a best friend named Linh, we have been together since we were just little kids. She has beautiful bright skin and brown eyes. We have a lot of things in common, such as we love the same band, food and books. She and I even share the same name, and it is a small surprise for anyone who has talked to us. We spend every minute in our break time to talk about all the things that happen in class, and people usually ask what can even makes us laugh that hard. There are several heritage and splendid sights in Vietnam. Especially, Da Nang is one of the most popular place for both Vietnamese and foreign tourist. Da Nang includes sea, Son Tra island, mountain and beautiful landscape. There are a lot of interesting places such as: Asia entertainment park, Ba Na hill, Hoi An ancient town, My Khe beach, museum of art as well as famous bridges. The city is well known for its fresh atmosphere, friendly people and security. The weather is glorious all the year and it brings this city many delicacies from sea and perfect living condition for people, specifically the elder. Visiting Da Nang, I am really impressed by Ba Na hill containing longest cable car from land to the top of the mountain. It is an unforgettable experience for visitors to observe breathtaking sight and picturesque scene. Beside, the beaches have long golden sand, deep blue sea in addition huge bunches of fresh coconut. Tourist has a chance to relax, enjoy the peace and nature, play aquatic sport. Moreover, the city has many big bridges like: Dragon bridge, Quay bridge and a large outdoor entertainment named Asia park. Additionally, there are a lot of delicious typical dishes such as: Quang noodle, xeo cake, pork pan-cake and others. Da Nang is preserved for its natural beauty; therefore, there is an increasing number of tourists come here. Consequently, it leads to polluted environment, natural damage and other social problem. However, the security of the city is good that there is no street robbery. Hence, Da Nang is voted to be one of the most worth-living cities in Vietnam. In the future, I hope Da Nang will develop and become more popular over the world.

Ngoài ra, biển có bãi cát vàng, nước trong xanh và những hang dừa lớn. Khách du lịch có cơ hội để giải lao, tận hưởng sự yên bình và thiện nhiên, chơi trò chơi dưới nước. Hơn nữa, Thành phố này còn có những cây cầu lớn như: cầu Rồng, cầu Quay và một khu vui chơi giải trí lớn. Hoi An ancient town is considered to be one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam. The little town is located on the central coast of the country and was formerly one of the leading port cities in the area. Stepping foot into this place, visitors will be taken on a journey to the past with all old buildings around. The most common way to travel round is by foot or bicycle, as it is easy for tourists to explore the neighborhood and visit local markets. Hoi An is famous for its skillful tailors who can make suits, wallets, shoes - anything you can imagine with outstanding quality. However, it is at nighttime that the town comes alive. The little town is lit up with colourful lanterns hung along the streets, which allows visitors to immerse themselves in a warm and romantic atmosphere that can hardly be found in anywhere else in the world. At this time of the day, travellers have the chance to know more about the unique local culture by listening to traditional music or watching water puppet shows. Beside these interesting experiences, it would be a pity not to try the distinctive culinary features here, including Hoi An baguette, white rose dumpling and Cao Lau.In brief, this ancient town has a unique beauty ones can hardly resist, making it one of the top destinations that should be added to our bucket-list.
