Lời giải:
$\cos 2x+\cos x+1=0$

$\Leftrightarrow 2\cos ^2x-1+\cos x+1=0$

$\Leftrightarrow 2\cos ^2x+\cos x=0$

$\Leftrightarrow \cos x(2\cos x+1)=0$

$\Leftrightarrow \cos x=0$ hoặc $\cos x=-\frac{1}{2}$

Nếu $\cos x=0$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{\pi}{2}+k\pi$ với $k$ nguyên.

Nếu $\cos x=-\frac{1}{2}$

$\Leftrightarrow x=\frac{2}{3}\pi +2k\pi$ hoặc $x=-\frac{2}{3}\pi +2k\pi$ với $k$ nguyên bất kỳ.
