Để được số có 4 chữ số nhỏ nhất thì số ở hàng cao phải càng bé và hàng bé phải cao
Từ lập luận trên ta có chọn \(d\) = 9 thì tổng các chữ số còn lại là:
15 - 9 = 6
Chọn \(c\) = 5 thì tổng các chữ số còn lại là: 6 - 5 = 1
Chọn \(b\) = 0 thì \(a\) = 1 - 0 = 1
Thay \(a=1;b=0;c=5;d=9\) vào biểu thức \(\overline{abcd}\) = 1059
Vậy số nhỏ nhất có 4 chữ số khác nhau mà tổng các chữ số bằng 15 là 1059
