Đây là cấu trúc đề thi toán quốc tế  Olympic BRICSMATH

Hôm nay olm.vn, sẽ hướng dẫn các em giải dạng toán nâng cao tìm diện tích hình phần được sơn của hình khối có hình dạng khác biệt như sau

Bước 1: Tìm số hình lập phương được sơn nhiều mặt, sơn một số mặt hoặc được sơn một mặt.

Bước 2: Tính tổng số mặt được sơn, 

Bước 3: Tính diện tích một mặt

Bước 4 : Lấy diện tích một mặt nhân với tổng số mặt được sơn.

                                            Giải:   

Hình trên được ghép bởi 6 hình lập phương nhỏ giống nhau:

    Trong đó có: 1 hình được sơn 5 mặt

                         4 hình được sơn 4 mặt

                          1 hình không sơn bất kỳ mặt nào

Tổng số mặt được sơn là:  5\(\times\)1 + 4 \(\times\) 4 + 0 \(\times\) 1 = 21 (mặt)

Diên tích của một mặt đã được sơn là: 2 \(\times\) 2 = 4 (cm2)

Diện tích bề mặt được sơn của hình bên là:  4 \(\times\) 21 = 84 (cm2)

Đáp số: 84 cm2

George Washington Carver showed that plant life was more than just food for animals and humans. Carver’s first step was to analyze plant parts to find out what they were made of. He then combined these simpler isolated substances with other substances to create new products.

The branch of chemistry that studies and finds ways to use raw materials from farm products to make industrial products is called chemurgy. Carver was one of the first and greatest chemurgists of all time. Today the science of chemurgy is better known as the science of synthetics. Each day people depend on and use synthetic materials made from raw materials. All his life Carver battled against the disposal of waste materials and warned of the growing need to develop substitutes for the natural substances being used up by humans.

Carver never cared about getting credit for the new products he created. He never tried to patent his discoveries or get wealthy from them. He turned down many offers to leave Tuskegee Institute to become a rich scientist in private industry. Thomas Edison, inventor of the electric light, offered him a laboratory in Detroit to carry out food research. When the United States government made him a collaborator in the Mycology and Plant Disease Survey of the Department of Agriculture, he accepted the position with the understanding that he wouldn’t have to leave Tuskegee. As an authority on plant diseases – especially of the fungus variety – Carver sent hundreds of specimens to the United States Department of Agriculture. At the peak of his career, Carver’s fame and influence were known on every continent.

Although first flight generally attributed to a fixed-wing aircraft, the helicopter actually represents the first style of flight envisioned by humans. The ancient Chinese developed a toy that rose upward when spun rapidly. As early as the mid-sixteenth century, the great Italian inventor Leonardo da Vinci had drawn a prototype for the machine that we now know as the helicopter.

Early in the twentieth century, a great deal of experimentation and revision was taking place with regard to helicopter flight. The well-known phrase “two steps forward and one step back” provided an apt descriptor for early flight development. Uneven lift, known as dissymmetry, caused the early helicopters to flip over and confounded the inventors until the creation of the swash-plate; this allowed the rotor blade angles to be changed so that lift would be equal on each side of the shaft.

On November 13, 1907, the French pioneer Paul Cornu made history by lifting a twin-rotor helicopter into the air for a few seconds without ground assistance. Several models followed without significance until in 1924 when another French pioneer, Etienne Oehmichen, became the first to fly a helicopter for one kilometer. It was a historic flight of 7 minutes and 40 seconds. By 1936, solutions have been found to many of the problems with helicopter flight.

With the introduction of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 61, the first practical helicopter became a reality.
