Today is Sunday. I am doing my homework. My father is cleaning the floor. My mother is cooking in the kitchen. My grandma is reading a book about Uncle Ho. And my younger sister is playing toys. Everyday morning, I get up at 5:30. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I usually have breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I go to work by motorbike and be there at about 7:15 a.m. It takes me about 15 minutes from my house to get to my school. I usually start my work at 7:30 a.m. I stop at 11:45 a.m for my lunch in my school office. In the afternoon, I finish my work at 5:30 p.m, then I go home. I always spend my time on cooking dinner for my small family and we usually have dinner at 7:30 p.m. After dinner, we often watch TV and play with our son. After that, I always prepare my lessons plan and go to bed at 11:00 pm. On weekends, I usually go out with my family or friends.

I always feel lucky and proud to be attached to the homeland where I live. My love for it is not only about natural beauty but also about people, cultural features and traditional values. I always wish to contribute to preserving and developing those values, so that my hometown becomes more and more developed and advanced.
My love for my homeland is not only love and gratitude, but also responsibility. I understand that each citizen has his or her responsibilities and obligations towards the homeland. We need to contribute together to build a better place to live, where everyone can be happy and thrive.
In my love for my homeland, I also see the value of solidarity and mutual assistance. My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school competitions.

My favorite sport is badminton. I playing it because I think it is a good sport. Every sport will make people feel hot and uncomfortable, but when you play badminton, you will be comfortable because in the badminton court, there are many air-conditioners.
I usually play badminton on Sunday. I always play with my friend, Linh. She is good at badminton. But I am not very good at this sport so when we play badminton, she hits the ball on my both sides. She makes me run and run, and I feel very tired. Sometimes I must jump high to hit the ball to the opposite side.
Although this makes me tired, I still always practise because I will be healthier and fitter than before. Anyway, I think badminton is the best sport.

Tet, also known as Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, and candies are the foods that must have on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes. However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, people can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors. Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success. To Vietnamese, Tet is the happiest time of all year around, members in a family can gather together, which is a meaningful messages of Lunar New year festival. All in all, Tet is all about back to origins, be good to others, enjoy the precious moment, and wish for the best to come.

Traditional Tet is one of the most important festivals of Vietnam. Just like in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, so is the traditional New Year's Day. Traditional New Year's Day is called Lunar New Year or Lunar New Year, and is considered the most important moment of a year. The time starts on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the new year. The Lunar New Year usually falls between the end of January and the middle of February of a calendar year. Normally in Vietnam, every occasion to prepare for the Lunar New Year, everyone, whether working or going to school, has a holiday schedule. Normally, the time off is from one working week or more (for employees) and two to three days before December 30. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, prepares a tray of rice to worship ancestors. And yet, on the traditional New Year's Day, there is also a custom to visit the elderly, family members, friends and neighbors every time Tet comes. At that time, homeowners or adults will give lucky money to children and elders with wishes at the beginning of the new year of peace, prosperity, and everything as desired. This is not only a custom but also a cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, to show concern and hope for a full and peaceful life for everyone.

Every day I have chance to watch different famous people shine and bring inspiration to others on TV; however, the one that inspires me the most is Taylor Swift. She is a typical example of a strong, intelligent and independent woman. She used to be a small girl who had been bullied throughout the school years. However, she overcame all the difficulties to become one of the most successful singer and composer of America. She challenges herself in different types of music, from Country, Ballad to Pop, and all of her songs carry deep meanings. Most people can find themselves in her lyrics and her melodies. Besides her singing career, she is also a businesswoman who has her own enterprises and brand names. She had tried so hard in her youth to achieve the things that I always dream of; therefore, she is a great symbol that I always look up. Taylor Swift is forever my beloved idol, and her effort is the goal for me to never quit trying.
Calories are units of energy. They refer to the amount of energy you get from foods and drinks, and the amount of energy you use through physical activities. For example, an apple has about 80 calories, while a 1.6 km walk might use up 100 calories. Calories are important for human health, and the key is having the right amount of it.
Everyone needs different amounts of energy per day depending on age, size and activity levels. An athlete needs more calories than an office worker. To stay in shape, an average adult requires at least 1,800 calories per day (according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations). If we eat just the number of calories our body needs each day, we will probably be healthy. However, eating too much can make you put on weight. These are some experts' tips to reduce calorie intake. First, you must know how many calories you need each day and always count them in your diet. Have small frequent meals and drink more water too. This will help you feel less hungry. Furthermore, avoid all sugary drinks and junk food. They are high in energy but low in nutritional value.
