When you get stuck in traffic, you roll up all windows of' your car and open the air recirculation system. You may think these measures can protect your nose from the nasty smelling fumes going up from the cars around you. Actually, recent researches have shown that on-the-road exposure to pollutants can damage the heart.
Over the past several years, it has been proved that air pollution worsens heart disease and even causes heart attacks. Unfortunately, up to now there has not been any effective way to keep all the heart damaging particles from entering your car. Trong đêm giao thừa, trời rét mướt, có một cô bé đầu trần, chân đi đất, bụng đói đang bán diêm trong bóng tối. Cô bé bán diêm ấy mồ côi mẹ và cũng đã mất đi người thương yêu em nhất là bà nội. Em không dám về nhà vì sợ bố sẽ đánh em nếu em không bán được diêm hay không xin được ít tiền bố thí nào. Vừa lạnh vừa đói, cô bé ngồi nép vào một góc tường rồi khẽ quẹt một que diêm để sưởi ấm. Que diêm thứ nhất cho em có cảm giác ấm áp như ngồi bên lò sưởi. Em vội quẹt que diêm thứ hai, một bàn ăn thịnh soạn hiện lên. Rồi em quẹt que diêm thứ ba và thấy cây thông Nô-en. Quẹt que diêm thứ tư: Bà nội hiền từ của em hiện lên đẹp đẽ, gần gũi và phúc hậu biết mấy. Nhưng ảo ảnh đó nhanh chóng tan đi sau sự vụt tắt của que diêm. Em vội vàng quẹt hết cả bao diêm để mong níu bà nội lại. Sáng hôm sau, người ta thấy bên đường có một cô bé chết cóng nhưng trên môi vẫn nở nụ cười. Cô bé bán diêm đã chết khi mơ cùng bà bay lên cao mãi.
Đoạn b:
Bức tranh của em gái tôi là một câu chuyện cảm động về tình anh em cũng như sự gắn bó giữa các thành viên trong gia đình. Ban đầu người anh đã luôn nghi ngờ và không tin tưởng người em, luôn cho rằng những việc làm của em mình là sai. Nhưng sau khi biết bức tranh mà người em gái đã vẽ về mình thì mọi suy nghĩ, định kiến về em ban đầu mất hết. Kể từ khi đó, trong lòng người anh chỉ còn lại sự xúc động, nỗi ân hận, giằn vặt bản thân. Từ đây, người anh sẽ yêu và hiểu em mình hơn, tình cảm anh em họ sẽ trở nên gắn kết nhiều hơn nữa.

Một bài thơ bốn chữ mà em rất yêu thích và thuộc lòng chính là bài thơ Con chim chiền chiện của Huy Cận trong sách giáo khoa Tiếng Việt lớp 4 tập 1. Bài thơ sử dụng nhiều hình ảnh so sánh, ẩn dụ và chuyển đổi cảm giác. Nhờ vậy, mà người đọc có thể mường tượng và cảm nhận được vẻ đẹp trong trẻo, long lanh, tràn ngập yêu thương, trìu mến của giọng hót chim chiền chiện. Giọng hót ấy là sự ngợi ca vẻ đẹp của mùa xuân, của độc lập tự do trên đất nước Việt Nam ta. Vẻ đẹp ấy khiến chú chim say sưa, mê đắm, lâng lâng trong niềm vui. Đó cũng chính là những nỗi niềm mà nhà thơ Huy cận muốn gửi gắm đến người đọc. Tiếng chim hót cũng là tiếng thơ của lòng ông, tiếng thơ của tất cả người dân Việt Nam khi đất nước đón mùa xuân hòa bình mới.
