Thay x + y = -1 vào biểu thức N ta được:
N = x2(-1) - y2(-1) + x2 - y2 + 2(-1) + 3
N = -x2 + y2 + x2 - y2 - 2 + 3
N = (-x2 + x2) + (y2 - y2) + (-2 + 3)
N = -2+3=1
Vậy tại x+y+1=0 thì giá trị của biểu thức N là: 1.
