$=[(6x+1)-(6x-1)]^2=2^2=4$

b.

$3(2^2+1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1)(2^{16}+1)$

$=(2^2-1)(2^2+1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1)(2^{16}+1)$

$=(2^4-1)(2^4+1)(2^8+1)(2^{16}+1)$

$=(2^8-1)(2^8+1)(2^{16}+1)$
$=(2^{16}-1)(2^{16}+1)=2^{32}-1$

c.

$2C=(5^2-1)(5^2+1)(5^4+1)(5^8+1)(5^{16}+1)$

$=(5^4-1)(5^4+1)(5^8+1)(5^{16}+1)$

$=(5^8-1)(5^8+1)(5^{16}+1)$
$=(5^{16}-1)(5^{16}+1)=5^{32}-1$
