Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is an icon of Australia's creative construction. It is located in the end of Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour. Designed by a Danish architect Jorn Utzon, this landmark was built in 1957. Completed in 1973, it has attracted worldwide praise for its design and construction. The Sydney Opera House has three shell groups in which two houses, main performance halls and one house, a restaurant. These shell structures are set upon a large platform. In 2007, it was voted as a UNESCO World Heritage building.
