Phu Quoc Island is quite large and has two distinct seasons including the rainy season and the dry why . Whatever the season, the weather in Phu Quoc is always cool and mild. The beach is very beautiful with white sand and clear blue water, so many people come to Phu Quoc for vacation. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the cuisine on Phu Quoc Island is also diverse, including fresh seafood into delicious and attractive dishes.

My house also has a small garden with some trees and flowers that my husband is planted. My house isn’t large but it very beautiful, and I love this house so much. My husband and I had try so much to get it and the most important thing it is the place where all members of my family share the happiness and sadness and hurts together.

My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my brother and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. I like swimming. It is my favorite sport, for I know that it is healthy as well as a good chance for a person to exercise his or her body.
Last Sunday morning, as the weather was fine, I went to Vung Tau with my family. It took us about two hours by car to arrive at our destination, and I felt very excited about it.
When our car reached the top of the cliff overlooking the Bay, I admired the golden sand of the long beach, the blue sky and water, and the splendid country surroundings which looked like an artist’s painting.
We put on our bathing-suits and ran into the water. It was a very happy swim for me. We played ball, challenged each other in swimming a certain distance. Of course, I was always beaten by my bigger brothers but I was satisfied with my good effort. When we felt tired, we lay down on the beach to rest and to have some sunbath. At about noon, we returned to our tent and had lunch.
About 3 p.m. we went once more into the water and swam till 5 p.m. Finally, we got ready to start for home. Everyone was delighted to have spent such a wonderful swim. I really enjoyed swimming very much that day.
My mother is a teacher, and her name is Thanh. She is 40 years old. She is tall and slim, and she has bright skin with long black hair. She is a very nice and friendly person. Her students always give her compliments, and they love to study with her. Every day, she wakes up at 6 o’clock to cook breakfast for me, and then she goes to school. She teaches Math at a secondary school, and she is a very good teacher. She comes back home at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, and I help her to make dinner. I very like watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I like most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Căn hầm đom đóm” or “Mộ đom đóm”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understaned as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphaneds : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me.
Everything is two-faced like the two faces of a coin, and so is watching TV. Watching TV has advantages.
First, it widens our knowledge. Information on TV is diverse, letting the viewers know upto-date news from all fields of life such as news about politics, socioeconomy, scientific- chnology, etc…
Second, TV serves us as a means of relaxation. Films, plays, music shows on TV are vailable all day. We can enjoy these programs at home whenever we like.
Third, it is a good friend helping us kill time. Whenever we feel bored or do not know what to do. Simply turn on your TV set and you will surely feel OK soon. On the other hand, watching TV also has some disadvantages. Bad contents such as violent films, sexual exposures on the screen, and other sensitive topics may dangerously affect children. In addition, Watching TV too much or regularly also takes us much time and badly affects our health, especially our eyes.
Finally, we have to pay some extra money for electricity consumption, too. In short, watching TV, which may be good or bad, depends on the way we use TV to serve our life.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. My best friend is someone special whom I can share my all feelings. He is John. He lives with me as my neighbour in the same colony. We met each other in the nursery class on the very first day. We sit together in the classroom and share everything very happily without any problem. We know each other very well as well as understand each other’s need. He is leadership in nature, tall, fair in complexion, good looking and smart. He is very good in studies and behaves well with everyone. He does his class work and homework very attentively. He is favourite student of class teacher as he is very punctual and follows all the etiquettes.
He respects my feelings and helps me always. Many things of us hobbies, s, diss, etc are similar. We love to listen music, watching cartoons and playing carom at home. My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusias and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.
