Of all my past experiences, the one that stands out most in my memory is a day of bitter sorrow and remorse. Although at the end of the day, a ray of happiness shone through the dark clouds, the mental anguish I underwent may never be equalled.
The day was a Saturday. Everyone was busy. My mother had asked me to stay at home knowing how clumsy I was. Being a grown up girl, I naturally felt resentful and I had the urge to go out. Eventually, I came out of my house without her knowledge and ran joyfully to join my brother and other friends.
We played a game of poker and then sat down under the shade of a large tree. While we were chatting, one of the boys said, “I bet none of you girls can ride a bicycle to town.” The other girls looked at each other then the bicycle fearfully, but I was full of courage. Being provoked by the challenge and we agreed that if I rode first, he would give each and everyone there 1 dollar and write an essay about how girls are as brave as guys.
My eldest brother was worried for if anything untoward happened to me, he would get the worst of it. But the boy dispelled all his fears. I had a feeling that something would go wrong when I began to ride a bicycle. My pride, nevertheless, got the better of me and I rode faster. On taking a bend, I had a sickening feeling. At that time I heard a loud noise “BANG!” and my friends shouting, “LINDA… LINDA!!”. Then I fell and my mind became blank.
On beginning to regain consciousness, I could hear voices around me. Again I began to sink deeply into a dreamless sleep. When I open my eyes, I found myself in a white room on a bed and my mother sitting beside me weeping. “What has happened?” I asked feebly. She wiped her tears and force a smile across her face and told me not to worry. I knew something was wrong.
A doctor then came in, examined me, he shook his head and went out to speak to my parents. Judging by the expression of the doctor and the way my mom cried, I knew it was no good news. Imagine the shock I underwent when I overheard the doctor saying that I would never walk again. Mixed feelings of remorse, regret and indescribable terror came over me. Why? Why? Oh why was I such a stubborn child. I shivered and suddenly felt very sick. I wanted to cry, I felt it in my throat, but the pain was too great and the tears refused to fall.
How I lived through that day of misery, it remains a question mark. It seemed to me to be the end of the world. My parents tried to pretend that my wounds were not serious. Little did they know, I knew the truth. In my thoughts, the doctor’s prediction remained. I felt completely miserable and when my mother smiled at me, telling me that I would recover soon, the irony of words cut through my heart like a sword.
Although the doctor’s prediction did not come true – thankfully, I will never forget the horror and misery it brought about it. As for the challenge, it was called off. No one lost nor did anyone won

I was a 6-year-old girl and I had a bestfriend whose name is Lisa. We were very close and seemed we couldn’t live without each other until her birhtday. It was a beautiful morning when Lisa invited me to her birthday party and had no idea about how great her party would be if she didn’t ask me to attend. I was very happy and decided to make my bestfriend surprise by giving her a puppy as a present. Lisa didn’t like dog or any animal but I almost forgot about that. I was confident to give her my present in her birthday and immediately realized that she didn’t like my little dog which I myself chose to buy 3 days ago. While the party was going on, I stood in a corner of the room and watched how much she loved other normal presents such as teddy bear, dolls or crayons. I felt dissapointed but that was not the worst thing. About 20 mintues later, Lisa’s father gave a sign that was the time to taking out a birthday cake. It was the biggest birthday cake I had ever seen. The light went off. As soon as it went on, somebody screamed “It’s a puppy in the cake”. Everyone was surprise and they recognized that was my puppy. They looked at the puppy and then looked at me. I glanced to Lisa. She said nothing and about to cried. I was very confused and ashamed. I carried my puppy, said sorry to Lisa and ran out of the party. I couldn’t believe that I had just broken my bestfriend’s birthday cake because of a silly decision. I learned that never bring any animal with me to a party, especially bestfriend’s birthday party. It’s an experience that I won’t forget for the rest of my life. Luckily Lisa forgave me and we are still friend up to now. She always reminded me about her 6th birthday and we laughed a lot.

Tôi đã học được rằng không bao giờ mang theo bất kì một động vật nào với mình tới các bữa tiệc, đặc biệt là tiệc sinh nhật bạn thân. Đó là một kỷ niệm mà tôi không bao giờ có thể quên được trong suốt phần đời còn lại. May mắn thay Lisa đã tha thứ cho tôi và cho đến bây giờ chúng tôi vẫn là bạn bè. Trong cuộc đời mỗi con người, chúng ta chắc hẳn luôn có những người bạn giúp chúng ta vượt qua những khó khăn và kề bên mỗi khi gặp chuyện vui cũng như chuyện buồn. Em cũng không phải là ngoại lệ, cũng có một người bạn thân luôn sẻ chia và giúp đỡ mỗi khi em gặp khó khăn. Kha – đó là tên đứa bạn thân nhất của em.
Kha năm nay bằng tuổi em, cũng là mười tuổi. Kha có nước da trắng như trứng gà bóc cùng dáng người thanh mảnh. Lúc nào đến lớp bạn cũng gọn gàng trong bộ đồng phục áo trắng quần đen, mái tóc dài được búi gọn gàng sau gáy. Kha có khuôn mặt bầu bĩnh và đôi mắt biết nói. Đôi mắt bạn to tròn lấp lánh ánh cười luôn cong cong như vầng trăng khuyết, nó như biết nói biết cười, biết sẻ chia mỗi khi em buồn và cổ vũ mỗi khi em gặp chuyện vui. Giọng nói của Kha trong trẻo như tiếng chim vàng oanh mỗi sáng, bạn đừng lầm tưởng rằng giọng nói ấy sẽ chua ngoa nhé. Bởi vì giọng nói ấy rất truyền cảm và vô cùng thu hút. Kha thường kể cho chúng em nghe những câu chuyện ma mà bạn ấy biết, với chất giọng ly kì hấp dẫn, nó luôn làm chúng em hét toáng mỗi khi đến đoạn cao trào. Đổi lấy một tiếng cười vang nhí nhảnh của nó là bộ mặt hoảng hồn của mấy đứa chúng em.
Thú thật lúc đầu em cũng không thích Kha bởi vì người đâu mà vừa học giỏi vừa xinh lại còn hát hay nữa. Không những thế ba mẹ lại rất hay lôi Kha ra để so sánh với em làm em cảm thấy rất bực bội cùng tủi thân bởi chẳng một đứa trẻ nào thích bị bố mẹ so sánh với bạn bè đâu, đặc biệt là trong khi đứa trẻ ấy còn không thích cô bạn kia nữa. Và có lẽ em vẫn sẽ ghét Kha như vậy nếu không có chuyện xảy ra lần đó.
Hôm ấy là một buổi sáng mùa đông lạnh lẽo, từng cơn gió bấc rít gào bên ô cửa sổ khiến em run lên. Chẳng hiểu sao chiều hôm trước em còn khỏe mạnh, chạy từ đầu sân đến cuối sân chơi trò đuổi bắt với anh trai mà ngày hôm sau đã ốm đến không dậy nổi. Em mệt mỏi mở to đôi mắt thẫn thờ nhìn bầu trời xám đen bên ngoài ô cửa, lòng nghĩ thầm cách để đến lớp mà không làm phiền ai. Mùa đông đến, em biến thành con sâu lười ham ngủ, chính vì vậy mà em luôn là nguời ngủ dậy muộn nhất nhà. Ba mẹ thường cùng anh trai em ăn sáng rồi đi học, đi làm em dậy sau nên sẽ ăn sáng sau rồi tự đi học. Nếu không phải hôm nay trường anh em tổ chức làm tình nguyện nên phải đi từ sớm thì nếu không anh sẽ không để em như thế này mà đến trường. Em đang đau đầu định bước xuống giường thì nghe thấy tiếng của Kha vọng từ bên ngoài vào:
- Lan ơi, cậu không đi bây giờ là cậu muộn học đấy!
Em muốn nói thật to cho nó rằng tớ đang bị ốm nhưng lời nói chẳng thể nào thoát ra khỏi cổ họng được. Chờ mãi không thấy ai trả lời, lại thấy đèn nhà em đang sáng, nó tò mò bước vào nhà không quên kèm theo câu: “Cháu xin phép ạ.”. Vào đến phòng em nó hoảng hốt chạy vào, hết sờ mặt lại sờ đến trán:
- Cậu sốt rồi, sao không gọi tớ vào, bố mẹ cậu đâu, anh trai cậu đâu sao cậu ở nhà một mình thế?
- Bố…mẹ…tớ…đi làm. Còn… còn anh tớ đi tình nguyện rồi…khụ..
- Cậu đã ăn sáng chưa? Rồi còn nhà cậu có thuốc không, để đâu chỉ tớ, tớ đi lấy.
Nhìn bộ dạng lo sốt vó của nó mà em ngỡ ngàng, bấy lâu nay em nghĩ Kha cũng chẳng ưa em vậy mà khi em ốm bạn liền lo lắng đến như vậy. Tự nhiên em cảm thấy mình đúng là một đứa bạn tồi, không nhận ra Kha tốt như thế nào mà chỉ theo suy nghĩ riêng của mình mà ghét bạn. Em ngại ngùng đón nhận sự giúp đỡ từ bạn mà vui sướng khi có một người bạn tốt như Kha. Sau khi nấu cháo cho em ăn, bạn còn giúp em uống thuốc và gọi điện xin phép cho cả hai chúng em cùng nghỉ bởi vì chăm sóc em đã khiến bạn muộn giờ học.
Từ hôm ấy ngày nào Kha cũng qua nhà giảng bài cho em, nhờ vậy mà em đã theo kịp bạn bè khi đi học trở lại mà không cần đến sự giúp đỡ của gia sư hay thầy cô phụ đạo thêm. Dù trước đây luôn ham chơi bỏ bê bài tập nhưng sau kỉ niệm lần ấy em đã chú ý hơn và nâng cao được điểm số khiến thầy cô và bố mẹ rất vui lòng. Tất cả là nhờ có sự tận tâm giúp đỡ của Kha, cuối học kì I vừa rồi chúng em đã đứng trong top 10 của lớp và được các thầy cô tuyên dương là đôi bạn cùng tiến đấy!
Em rất yêu quý cô bạn thân của mình và mong muốn tình bạn của chúng em cũng sẽ bển chặt qua thời gian để em có thể lưu lại được những kí ức tuổi học trò khi ở bên bạn bè và gia đình.

Ha Long Bay is natural wonder in Quang Ninh. From Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay about 170 km. You can go there by bus, motobikes, cars, est. In there, you can see many islands. It's very big. And you can also see many boats. There're visited the islands. We take the photos with islands. It's convenient to buy seafood. It's so good. Go there, you should visit Tuan Chau island. It's the biggest island in Ha Long Bay. It's modern and noisy. Everybody make it noisy. But there are many buildings around the island. And there are many flowers and trees for natural lovers. It's so great! I love Ha Long Bay very much and it's very very and very beautiful natural wonder in Quang Ninh, Viet Nam and the world!

Last summer , I went to Da Lat with my family for three days. It was so interesting. The weather was fine and cool. People were friendly and kind. They helped our very much. In Da Lat , we visit many beautiful scenes such as :Xuan Huong Lake , Cam Ly waterfall, Cu Hill ,...we were very excited . Then , we went to the city park , we took many pictures and played here. Also , we went to the restaurant to ate sea food , fruit ,....The seafood was delicous and the fruit was attractive: plum , peach , orange , grape , apple ,...It was so cheap. After three days , we went home. Unforgetable !

My best friend is someone special whom I can share my all feelings. He is John. He lives with me as my neighbour in the same colony. We met each other in the nursery class on the very first day. We sit together in the classroom and share everything very happily without any problem. We know each other very well as well as understand each other’s need. He is leadership in nature, tall, fair in complexion, good looking and smart. He is very good in studies and behaves well with everyone. He does his class work and homework very attentively. He is favourite student of class teacher as he is very punctual and follows all the etiquettes.
He respects my feelings and helps me always. Many things of us hobbies, s, diss, etc are similar. We love to listen music, watching cartoons and playing carom at home. We take care of each other in the school and playground. We share school copies and help each other whenever one of us remain absent in the school. We go at tour and picnic with our parents together in every winter and summer vacation.

Chúng mình chăm sóc nhau ở trường và nơi chơi đùa. Chúng mình chia sẻ bài tập và giúp đỡ nhau khi có một người vắng học. Chúng mình cùng đi du lịch và dã ngoại với ba mẹ vào mỗi mùa đông và mùa hè.

My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusias and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.

I have a closest friend and her name is Mary. She is twelve years old and she is a student at Le Loi secondary school. She s listening to music and she often listen it in her free time.Her favorite subject is English and she good at learning English. Every day she and I go to school together because we are classmates.In the afternoon, she stays at home, so she helps her mother with the housework. I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

Olympia is one of my favorite TV show. This is a television knowledge contest for high school students. It is always shown on VTV 3 at 13 o'clock every Sunday. Candidates are the best students in the country. MC is quite charming and beautiful lady. The program also has a team of consultants who are experienced teachers. In the program, there are 4 competitions, which in turn is the start, the obstacle, accelerate and the goal. Every competition is very interesting and exciting, it requires students not only knowledge from books but also social knowledge. Contestants do not only have knowledge but also must have both brave and self-confidence. The students, parents go cheer for the contestants are very enthusias. In the contestants, competitor that I most is Lam Vu Tuan, he is very talented and funny. My biggest dream is to study well and paripate in the program compete for knowledge.

There are many sports, which are good for our health and popular over the world. Soccer is one of my favorite sports. It is played by two teams consisting of 11 people each team. The general rule is that the ball is kicked by leg and the players get score when having the ball in their goal post. Football is known as “king” among other sports. First, it improves integrity when applying several techniques to create strong power. Second, it not only reduces stress and bad cholesterol of body but also relaxes out spirit after a hard working day. My brother usually plays football every afternoon after work as he is in a local sport club. Moreover, football is not simply one kind of sport, it is an art because of the popularity. Since there is an increasing number of football team over the world such as: Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal with professional players. Although I am not able to play well, I love watching football matches as they are interesting and we can also learn from their technique. Furthermore, football is public concern as well as heated debate. Football is now popular through women, who are thought not able to play this kind of sport.

1) I love Hanoi, although I just came to Hanoi for only one time. However, that time was my best time ever.
I came to Hanoi on an autumn day, and my first feeling was the feeling of a peaceful space, not like in Ho Chi Minh City. That feeling was overwhelming all my soul when I was walking along Nguyen Du Street and enjoying the Milk flower. Why was it so beautiful here? In the early winter night, in slightly cold spread hoarfrost, sitting on the bank of Thien Quang Lake, whether at the other side, I still smelt its perfume. I walked along the street and dropped myself in a sweet smell of Milk flower, the wind blew my hair, and I felt so great.
Milk flower on the streets of Hanoi goes deeply inside the memories of Hanoi people and all visistors who have come to Hanoi. It also goes into the music, the poetry, movies. Those are some good ways to introduce Milk flower to everybody. For me, means of communication such as internet or TV are the best ways to introduce Milk flower for all over the world. It is simple when everyone looks at all wonderful pictures or images of Milk flower, they will want to come and enjoy it. In Japan, they have cherry blossom, in Netherlands, they have tulip…How can we know about it? That is all thanks to means of communication. We must let them know that in Hanoi, we have Milk flower. Therefore, the things we need to do now are we should have a website about Milk Flower with pictures, clips, songs, poetry in many languages (if we can)… or we can hold more activities which relate to Milk flower. We must have some more activities to advertise this kind of flower. That was what I think when I saw Milk flower for the first time.
I love Hanoi; I love the early cold winter nights with Milk flower’s smell. I hope Milk flowers will be grown more on Hanoi streets. Milk flower is a precious gift that nature gives to us, especially to Hanoi, our beloved capita.
2)Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city and the region’s centre for economics, education and culture in Vietnam.

So it has high population density with many people from many areas in Vietnam comes and works together.
Next, Ho Chi Minh City has emerged as Viet Nam's main commercial hub and an important motor of economic growth both regionally and nationally. This city has a diversified network of shopping centre, super market, market-day,... Specially, the weekend fairs in HCM City are not only shopping places for young people, but also a destination for sightseeing and shopping for many foreign tourists where people not only can buy supplies but also can buy souvenirs.

School discipline that is the rules, the rules, the school issued, forcing students to follow. To get what we want or to be successful, we all have a long way to go. A student who knows how to properly observe discipline and general rules is always someone who is respected and loved by others, masters himself, receives everyone's trust, is a good citizen for the community. Such as having to train them in the habit of being polite to people older than themselves, caring about helping people, and people in difficulty are virtues that students need to have. A student who knows how to properly observe discipline and general rules is always someone who is respected, loved and controlled by others. In short, the discipline of the Vietnamese people is spreading quite well, but it is still mainly due to the human consciousness that forms that virtue. Therefore, let us not because of the immediate difficulties that we do not try to achieve.

I have a memorable childhood which has many experiences. One of the experiences I remember most is the first time I was invited to a birthday party. I was a 6-year-old girl and I had a bestfriend whose name is Lisa. We were very close and seemed we couldn’t live without each other until her birhtday. It was a beautiful morning when Lisa invited me to her birthday party and had no idea about how great her party would be if she didn’t ask me to attend. I was very happy and decided to make my bestfriend surprise by giving her a puppy as a present. Lisa didn’t dog or any animal but I almost forgot about that. I was confident to give her my present in her birthday and immediately realized that she didn’t my little dog which I myself chose to buy 3 days ago. While the party was going on, I stood in a corner of the room and watched how much she loved other normal presents such as teddy bear, dolls or crayons. I felt dissapointed but that was not the worst thing. About 20 mintues later, Lisa’s father gave a sign that was the time to taking out a birthday cake. It was the biggest birthday cake I had ever seen. The light went off. As soon as it went on, somebody screamed “It’s a puppy in the cake”. Everyone was surprise and they recognized that was my puppy. They looked at the puppy and then looked at me. I glanced to Lisa. She said nothing and about to cried. I was very confused and ashamed. I carried my puppy, said sorry to Lisa and ran out of the party. I couldn’t believe that I had just broken my bestfriend’s birthday cake because of a silly decision. I learned that never bring any animal with me to a party, especially bestfriend’s birthday party. It’s an experience that I won’t forget for the rest of my life. Luckily Lisa forgave me and we are still friend up to now. She always reminded me about her 6th birthday and we laughed a lot.

Trong khi bữa tiệc diễn ra, tôi đứng ở góc phòng và quan sát cô ấy yêu quý những món quà bình thường như gấu bông, búp bê hoặc hộp màu đến bao nhiêu. Tôi cảm thấy rất thất vọng nhưng đó vẫn chưa phải là điều tệ nhất. Khoảng 20 phút sau, bố của Lisa ra hiệu đã đến giờ mang bánh kem ra. Đó là chiếc bánh kem to nhất mà tôi từng thấy. Đèn tắt. Ngay khi nó bật sáng trở lại thì ai đó la lớn “Con chó ngồi trên bánh kem rồi kìa”. Mọi người rất ngạc nhiên và họ nhận ra đó là con chó con của tôi. Họ nhìn con chó con rồi nhìn sang tôi. Tôi lước nhìn Lisa. Cô ấy không nói gì cả và gần như sắp khóc. Tôi rất bối rối và xấu hổ. Tôi ôm lấy con chó, xin lỗi Lisa và chạy thật nhanh khỏi bữa tiệc. Không thể tin nổi là tôi vừa mới phá tan nát chiếc bánh sinh nhật của bạn thân chỉ vì một quyết định ngu ngốc. Tôi đã học được rằng không bao giờ mang theo bất kì một động vật nào với mình tới các bữa tiệc, đặc biệt là tiệc sinh nhật bạn thân. Đó là một kỷ niệm mà tôi không bao giờ có thể quên được trong suốt phần đời còn lại. May mắn thay Lisa đã tha thứ cho tôi và cho đến bây giờ chúng tôi vẫn là bạn bè. Cô ấy hay nhắc tôi về chuyện xảy ra ở bữa tiệc sinh nhật lần thứ 6 ấy và chúng tôi cùng cười to.
