1. Talk about your Tet holiday
I would like to talk about the Lunar New Year festival, also known as the Tet holiday, which is the occasion expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. The festival usually lasts for around 3-4 days, and it takes place when a new year comes according to the lunar calendar.
The Lunar New Year festival takes place because it is one of the most well-known traditions of Vietnam. Our people have been celebrating this occasion for thousands of years, and although there has been some recent argument about whether we should stop celebrating this festival, I do not think this activity will come to an end soon, at least not in the short term.
There are some common things that people do during this festival. Perhaps the most important thing is that people who work and study in big cities would go back to their hometown to celebrate the new year with their families and relatives. The new year festival is one of very few occasions that families can gather together, so it is easy to understand why everyone in Vietnam expects this festival so much. Another thing that we usually do is that we give children some “lucky money” with the hope that it will bring fortune to those kids. We also have some other activities such as making “chung” cake, visiting temples and pagodas… and so on.
The new year festival is so important to me and also to all Vietnamese citizens. The reason is because we get more days off from work and study, and therefore we have more time to spend with our families and our loved ones. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year.
The world is currently very developed, which means that science and technology are very developing,especially mobile phones..They have a lot of advantages. Because they are so useful. They work remotely, even when you're in another part of the world. You can communicate verbally, video, audio and exchange other media. All websites, applications and software have been created to help users socialize. Social media, texting, texting, laptops, tablets, and cell phones mean no one needs to feel isolated in the digital world. Users can be regularly updated with news about local events and social developments. We can also learn through technology. Anyone with access to the internet today can access a huge amount of the world's knowledge through the web. Alternatively, lessons and courses can now be offered virtually online. Online social media or playing computer and mobile games is becoming more and more popular. Traditional media also developed, as television and broadcasting were digitized along with radio. It has many benefits, but it also has disadvantages. Firstly,The Internet is a very fast and convinient way for us to communicate with others. Such
as, We can communicate with our friends and relatives by means of email or chatting.
Secondly, the Internet is a very fast and convinient way for us to get information. For
examples,We can get latest news of the world, check weather or book the tickets for a soccer
match or the flight, and so on.
Thirdly, The Internet is a big source of entertaiment: We can see movies, listen to music , read
newspapers . We can play games or do sight seeing, and so on.
Finally, Internet is a rich source educational materials: We can learn English, look up new
words in a dictionary, take a learning course, and so on.
On the other hand, the Internet has limistations. It is time - consuming and costly. It is also
dangerous because of virus and bad programs. On the other hand, The Internet users sometimes
have to suffer various risks such as spam or electronic junk mail, and personal information
leaking.
In conclusion, the Internet is very useful for us. However, we shouldn’t spend too much time
for it. We should balance study and surf the web.
In today's life, science and technology are increasingly developing and bringing many benefits to people. It keeps people up to date with the latest and most useful information and reality today it helps people about how Covid's character in the world is going on. It also helps people learn things that people have never known and many other benefits so science and technology are indispensable in human life.

We have allowed science to master us instead of using it as our servant. Machines make us mechanical, deaden our sensibilities, stifle our creative talents, force mechanical regularity, uniformity and boredom upon us, increase our wants and desires, and tend to make us selfish, greedy and cruel. Geographical distance has, no doubt, vanished, but the gulf between the minds and hearts of man has widened. Machines have given man leisure, but man misuses it to get cheap and vulgar entertainment which destroys his physical and mental health.Again, science has put in our hand’s such fiendish weapons as a nuclear bomb, the guided missile and means of chemical and biological warfare.
