1.Describe a place of interest in your hometown
=> I live in New York with my parents. There are a good number of interesting places to see and visit here. But the New York Public Library is more interesting to me than any other places.
I am a citizen of the USA by birth but my parents are not. They came here in search of living from Larissa in Greece during the 1980s. They have been living for around 36 years in this city. After my birth and I got matured enough, they took me to different interesting places to visit in the New York City, and these places are really interesting. But being an introvert, I disliked the crowds and the public library appeared to be more interesting to me than other places. The place is filled with books on numerous issues, magazines, documents and many other things. The classics available in the library were my favourite.
Going to the library is easier for me. In fact, this is not far away from my residence. The New York Public Library is only a 10-minute walk from my home. It remains open from 10 am to 8 pm, except the weekends. Usually, I go there in the evening and read books or novels until the library is closed. Besides, the library is accessible from the other parts of the city. The people who want to visit the library can reach here using several transportation modes. They can reach the library by taxi, metro or by their private cars. But the people who live nearby, like me, come here mostly on foot.
The New York Public Library is a great place to read. But the people who come here are not readers always. Some of them are researchers, while some others may be historians or musicians. Actually, the library is visited by a wide range of people. Basically, the library comes with the reading facilities. But there is also the scope to check the reference books, peep on the music directory or crosscheck any history. Besides, the reading rooms are well expanded and the readers have ample opportunities to use the books and references after their needs. But they have to be careful with the books. Silence among the readers while reading books is expected there.
Reading books may appear boring to many but it is very interesting to me. I love reading books. The books help us to know the unknown and unseen. The experiences of past thousand years have been preserved in books in words. So, when I read them, it appears that I am travelling through time! But every place is not suitable for reading and it requires a very special environment. Hence, I think a library is a nice place to read. At the same time, it is an interesting place as an enriched collection of books are available together. In fact, it is impossible for an individual to collect a part of the books of this library in his entire life. So, I find more interest in reading books in a calm place and the New York Public Library is a place I would recommend to a tourist.

Hello dear jane!
I have already received your letter, I feel very happy, I also feel happy after hearing you introduce about your beloved country. Those images kept popping up in my head. Those are massive houses, the sound of cars echoing in my ears. There are also roads that stretch to infinity with the hustle and bustle of people passing by on the piece of land where you were born and raised.
I am very excited to take my turn to introduce you to this beautiful country, a great country beyond compare.
My country is named after the two words Vietnam, it sounds so heroic and proud of its glorious historical traditions. These are the struggles for independence the fight of Hai Ba Trung. Let me tell you about the course of this battle. In the spring of 40, Hai Ba Trung raised the flag of rebellion in Hat Mon (Ha Tay), which is now the capital of Hanoi. The rebels who controlled Me Linh came to Tam Dao and quickly moved down to Co Loa and Luy Lau. As a result, the uprising was completely won. That's it, the Vietnamese people, we Vietnamese people won't let other people take it so easily.
Not only are there glorious historical traditions, but there are also spectacular natural scenes. Ha Long Bay, beaches Trang, Cua Tung, etc. Da Lat city with beautiful flowers is called flower city, My Son relic area,.... In my country, there are also unique customs and habits such as eating betel nut, dyeing teeth black, etc. As a child of Vietnam, I am proud to say that I am very lucky to be born and raised in this country. this S-shaped land.

I know your country is very far from mine - Vietnam. But if you have a chance, I want to come and visit it - a very beautiful country.
I will show you my village first, its name is Sky Garden. Listening to the name can make you know what there is in my village. Each house in Sky Garden has an own garden, it's probably a banana garden, an apple garden, a flower garden and so on. My village also has a paddy field, it seems be a very huge yellow rug. And if you feel hot, you can go with me to the Red River and enjoy the cool winds.
I really want you to visit my village and my country. I hope you will have time for that.

Hue is an ancient capital in Vietnam. Located in central Vietnam on the bank of Perfume River. Just a few miles inland from East Sea. It has many ancient Architecture and charming resort.
The typical climate in Hue is tropical monsoon climate. Maybe rainy is a speciality of the city. In the last months of the year, it rains a lot, sometime lasts all day. Hue's temperature is quite stable and not very defference among seasons; therefore Hue has quite pleasant climate and quite suitable for many people here and the tourist around the world.
Hue has several tourist attraction which are very peacful and ancient. Among these is Hue Citadel which was recognized is World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Hue Citadel is one of the place where attract the most tourist every year. Besides, there are many ancient Pagodas, Temples... that is also known by many tourist around the world.
The City is also well-known for its special foods and drinks. Tourist can enjoy ancient atmosphere by eat Royal Food and listening to the Royal Music. In Addition, Coffee is one of the most typical drink here, it is wonderful if you enjoy the cup of hot Coffee at morning in the peaceful day.
There are plenty of festivals for everyone take part in Hue. Specially, Hue Festival is the biggest festival here which are known by many Vietnamese people and tourist all over the world. The people in Hue is very kind and friendly, the people always help together and tourist. The criminal rates quite low and the life is very healthy.
In summary, Hue is a city that has something to offer everyone. And here is certainly worth visit and surely that Hue is one of the most ideal place to spend holiday.

Today I want to tell you about interesting places in Nam Dinh, a city in Vietnam. The first is the Nam Dinh museum, which reflects the history of Nam Dinh province, it is also a place to store the works of art, and the vestiges of Nam Dinh. Topic 2 : A couple of months ago I went to the Greek island of Crete. We stayed in a town called Xania, which is on the coast in the north west of Crete. It is a really picturesque town with small cobbled streets, a large harbour and many ancient buildings. I went there with my husband Brendan for a one-week holiday. We got there by various means of transport, taking a train to the airport, then a four-hour flight, followed by a twenty-minute taxi ride from the airport to where we were staying. The whole journey took around eight hours from door to door, which was a bit longer than we expected it to take, although we didn't have any major delays, thank goodness. I enjoyed my stay there very much, as I had not had a holiday for ages and needed to switch off from working. We didn't do much sightseeing, although Xania itself has a long and fascinating history so went to the local museum in order to learn more about it. I spent a lot of time reading books and swimming in the sea, which I must admit was quite a lot colder than I thought it would be. I also enjoyed eating the delicious Cretan food, and walking around the ancient streets in the town. One of the things I enjoyed the most was going to a restaurant called Xalkina, where they had live Cretan music every night. The musicians were playing instruments that I had never seen before, and I loved the style and tempo of the music they played. I would definitely like to go back to Crete one day, though next time I would probably make more effort to see the amazing sights of the rest of Crete.
