Every morning, Nam stops by and picks me up in his bike, and sometimes I make him breakfast in other to thank him for being my driver. He is tall and slim, so I have to chase him when we walk together. He always makes a joke on me for being shorter than him. After school, we usually do our homework together at my house, and my mother always invites him to stay for dinner. We each other a lot, and we will be best friends forever.

My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has long and beautiful hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. I have a best friend, and his name is Minh. Minh has been my classmate since we were in elementary school, and it means that we have been friends for more than ten years. Minh lives near my house, so it can be said that he is also my neighbor. He is a chubby boy with curly black hair. He wears a pair of very thick classes since he is short eye sighted. He has been wearing them since he was a little boy, and it is hard to recognize him without his classes even for me. Quê em là một vùng nông thôn nằm ở ngoại thành của Hà Nội, quê em có rất nhiều cảnh quan tuy đơn sơ giản dị nhưng rất đẹp và lãng mạn. Một trong những nơi em yêu thích và cảm thấy đẹp nhất của địa phương em, đó là cánh đồng lúa chín.
Vì quê em ở nông thôn nên bố mẹ em và các bác đều có hoạt động sản xuất chính đó là trồng lúa và thu hoạch thóc. Quê em vào những ngày lúa chín vô cùng đẹp. Cả cánh đồng rộng bát ngát được mặc trên mình bộ áo vàng rực rỡ, những bông lúa chín càng vàng ruộm dưới ánh nắng vàng, vô cùng rực rỡ, tươi đẹp. Khi lúa đã vào mùa thu hoạch, bông lúa đã bắt đầu trĩu bông, mỗi khi có những cơn gió, dù rất nhẹ nhàng nhưng cũng đã hương thơm dịu của lúa chín thổi đến khắp mọi nơi, dù ở trong làng nhưng cũng vẫn có thể ngửi thấy. Mùi hương của lúa rất đặc biệt, nó dìu dịu không nồng đậm hương như những loài cây, loài hoa khác nhưng lại mang đến cảm giác rất dễ chịu,thoải mái.
Em thấy ngồi trên bờ đê mà nhìn xuống những thửa ruộng xa xa là đẹp nhất, vì lúc ấy không thể nhìn thấy đâu là điểm kết thúc của sắc vàng kia, những bông lúa thì đung đưa theo những con gió, trông như những cánh tay đang vẫn chào, trông rất đáng yêu. Bên cạnh bờ ruộng là hàng cây xanh cao thẳng tắp, những cây này được trồng thành hàng, bao quanh lấy cánh đồng lúa. Sắc vàng của lúa hòa cùng với sắc xanh của hàng cây trông đẹp như một bức tranh sơn dầu.
Hàng cây cũng là nơi các bác, các cô nghỉ ngơi, ngồi hóng những đợt gió để thổi bay cái nóng nực của hè, tiếp thêm sức lực để có thể tiếp tục thu hoạch lúa. Bên cạnh còn là những chú trâu đang được buộc vào thân cây, những chú trâu chờ cho lúa thu hoạch xong rồi làm nhiệm vụ chở những xe lúa đầy về nhà. Khung cảnh tươi đẹp nơi cánh đồng bát ngát lại thêm không khí lao động sản xuất càng làm cho cảnh sắc của địa phương em trở nên sinh động, giàu sức sống hơn.
Quê hương của em tuy còn nghèo, cũng không có những di tích, những địa điểm tham quan nổi tiếng như những địa phương khác nhưng vẻ đẹp bình dị của cánh đồng bát ngát lúa, khung cảnh yên bình, êm ả nơi làng quê em thì những nơi thành phố nhộn nhịp, đông đúc khó mà có được. Em yêu và rất tự hào về quê hương em, em yêu ở chính cái vẻ đẹp giản dị mà thanh bình ấy.

Du khách đến Biên Hòa không thể không ghé thăm công viên thành phố quê em. Công viên nằm cạnh dòng sông Đồng Nai nước trong xanh, êm ả chảy bốn mùa.
Từ xa nhìn lại, công viên thành phố em giống như một tấm thảm nhiều màu. Nổi bật trên đó là hàng dừa cao vút, đong đưa tàu lá trong gió, soi mình xuống dòng nước lững lờ. Bước chân vào vườn hoa, ta thấy những lối đi viền gạch đỏ được trải đá bột, tỏa ra khắp công viên như một búi rễ khống lồ. Dọc theo lối đi, những bồn hoa lớn được trồng đủ các loại hoa: hoa cúc vàng tươi, hoa hồng đỏ thắm, hoa hướng dương vàng rực… nổi bật dưới ánh nắng chói chang. Xen kẽ trong những bồn hoa là những cụm dền xanh đỏ được sắp thành hàng chữ “Công viên Đồng Nai”.
Đứng cạnh muôn hoa là những cây kiểng được cắt xén thành hình muông thú, trông thật đẹp mắt. Đây là chú nai tơ đang tròn mắt ngơ ngác nhìn du khách. Kia là chú chim sâu đang chúi mỏ xuống đám cỏ non như tìm mồi. Kia là những cô công, chàng công xòe cái đuôi như chào khán giả trước lúc biểu diễn. Chính giữa công viên là một hòn non bộ đứng sừng sững như thách thức với gió mưa.
Phía dưới, đàn cá hồng lượn lờ quanh những bông súng tím hồng. Rải rác khắp công viên là những băng ghế đá nhiều màu, nằm dưới tán cây mát rượi làm chỗ nghỉ chân cho mọi người. Nhô ra ngoài bờ sông là nhà thủy tạ kiên cố với kiểu cấu trúc hoa mĩ. Đứng trên đó, phóng tầm mắt ra xa, ta sẽ nhìn thấy hai cây cầu nằm về hai hướng, cầu Mới và cầu Ghềnh. Ta còn thấy được cả những mái nhà ngói đỏ thấp thoáng sau hàng cây xanh ngắt.
Xa hơn nữa, ngọn núi Châu Thới mờ mờ trong ráng chiều đỏ ối. Chiều xuống mặt trời ngả về tây, mặt sông ánh lên màu đỏ pha sắc vàng rực rỡ. Lúc này, công viên rộn rã hẳn lên bởi bước chân người, bởi tiếng cười đùa ríu rít của trẻ con. Đông vui nhất phải kể đến ngày chủ nhật, du khách đến chơi, chụp hình kỉ niệm nhiều vô kể. Các em nhỏ tung tăng líu lo bên ba mẹ. Các anh chị lớn ngồi trên ghế đá đọc sách trò chuyện…
Được ngồi trên ghế đá đón gió sông mát rượi, ngắm nhìn trời nước mênh mông, vui chuyện cùng chúng bạn thì không- còn gì thích thú cho bằng. Em mong công viên thành phố quê hương em giữ mãi được vẻ đẹp thơ mộng này.

“Good friends are very rare in these fast changing days. Still, one must have a friend one can confide in. I am lucky to have number of friends. I love has one of them. Rahul is my best friend. I am really proud of him. He comes of a respectable family. His father is a landlord. We are class fellows. He is one of the best students of our class. He understands things quickly. He is a bright and active. He is very punctual. He is obedient and respectful. He is soft-spoken. He is good in studies. He is not a bookworm. He reads extra books and is not confined to his textbooks. He takes interest in current affairs and often discusses with me important issues of the day. His approach is direct but impartial. He is tolerant, broadminded and co-operative. He is fond of visiting restaurant and he takes his lunch outside on Sundays. He is also found of seeing movies in theater. Sometimes, he compels me to accompany him even though I have seen that parular movie. In fact, nobody is absolutely free form shortcomings. Last year , on summer holiday , when I had just passed the entrance exam to Ha Noi University of technology , my father took me to Ho Chi Minh city for a few days . As being eager for the trip , I prepared many things such as clothes , camera ... Eventually it came . When we got on the plane , I was very glad and the flight took off pricise time . Un almost everyone who felt ill at the beginning of the flight , I felt very comfortable . When the plane was floating in the air , I looked over the windown of the plane . Oh , I saw an incredibly beautiful scene . Everything was only lights that were sparkling and subtle . Two hours and a half later , we arrived in Ho Chi Minh city . We caught a taxi to go straight to my uncle’s house which nearly the airport . Next day , we woke up early , preparing to visit the city on my uncle’s motorbike . Who didn’t know that the streets in HCM city were as crowded as in HN city and I found that everyone was in a hurry . First , we stopped at DamSen water park where I enjoyed many aqua games slipping from a whirl of water , slithering in gutter , rolling with water and so do on . After that , we had a excellent lunch there . The foods was arranged as a party with many , many dishes : grill leg of turkey , bacon , beef , big crab , lobster , salmon , tuna , etc with various drinks such as cocacola , pepsi , beer and some wine made from grapes . After a while , my belly was full but I still was eatting some dessert . There are some dessert to choose such as melon , grapes , pear . Finally , I got a cup of coffee . I was very relaxed by flourve of it . Next , we slept for a long time and then drove motorbike in the streets about nightfall .We went snowly by motorbike and there were so many fun gave me on the day . Nightlife was animate . All shop was being opened with colourful lights , many vehicles were going in the streets and some people were going on foot in pavement to the streets became bustling and clamourous . About ten o’clock , we went back home to ready for next day that is enjoyable . It’s joyful memory . Furthermore , it’s reward to me for I passed one's examination to studying at HUT so it remind me that I must try to study very well

my summer holiday, I did not do something special and did not go somewhere special except Chamonix and Venice. Most of my holiday was showing friends of my parents and my grandparents the most important and the most beautiful places of Geneva and its surroundings.
I started the summer holiday before everyone (6 days before). That was because of my grandparents. Well, it first started off when my grand parents came. We were going by car where my grandmother wouldn't walk and I was walking with my grandfather. Because my grandfather s walking and my grandmother doesn't. Well they stayed for 1 month and went back to Turkey. The next visitors were my mother's schoolmates (can you believe it!!). They stayed one month as well. We kind of went to same places, when they were gone that was the fun. We went to Chamonix and Venice.
The best thing there was the Jacuzzi and the pool. In Chamonix, the mountains haven. The highest there was Mont-Blanc and Auguille du Midi. We climbed with a cable car; it was totally amazing and extremely cold. This point was 3842 meters high. And, of course, I should not forget Venice, it was also a haven but I didn't see much because we had small amount of time. The most amazing thing was the square of San Marco Polo and then the gondolas.
The thing I really d about my holiday was getting a brand new VW Passat and seeing my grandparents (first time in two years).
