Everybody has his or her own hobby. My favourite hobby is reading. I enjoy reading a book when I am free. I started to get the hobby from my father when I was four years old. My father is a researcher so he has a great collection of books on many fields: literature, science, art,…
I enjoy reading because it allows me to explore my own imaginative world. I keep the hobby of reading at least one hour every day. I usually read books at home, in my own room, at my office or at the local library. On my freetime, I can spend hours reading and thinking about facts described in each kind of books.
My favourite author is J.K.Rowling who wrote world-famous books “ Harry Potter”.
For me a good book is not only a true companion but also a well-experienced teacher guiding me through my life. There are a lot of advantages of reading. Reading makes me feel relaxed and calm. It has the miracle to relieve my suffering and my hardship and reveal to me strange and new horizons. I can also learn new vocabularies and grammars. So I can further improve my English. Moreover, it gives me unlimited imaginations. I can learn about different cultures of other countries in the world, too.
Instead of indulging myself in futile entertainments, I am often keen on reading books, which broadens my mind and improves my knowledge.
In a few words, the reading of books contributes to the moral and intellectual formation of a man. I love reading and I love books. I will collect more and more books and I wish I can write my own books in the future.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabularies by exposing many new words.I star to reading book when i in grade 3.my brother inspired me to do that.I usualy share my hobby with my friend and my english teacher.By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tell me about the world's history, let me see the structure of the brain, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activity and I will keep this hobby forever.

My name is Thu, i'm 12. My hoppy is listen to music, draw and watch TV. On holiday, I spend most of my time to perform hobbies. I spend most of my time watching TV, then listening to music and drawing a bit. My friends are very few watching TV, they often hang out, meet friends and exercise.I did not go out much, so I watched TV as direct contact with nature outside. In addition to watching TV, my second preference is listening to music. I have many hobbies, such as, playing football, game online and swimming. However, my favourite one is reading manga, a kind of Japanese picturebooks. Whenever i have spare time, i would to lie on my bed and enjoy thrilling and interesting adventures described through beautiful pictures. Moreover, reading these books makes me feel comfortable and relaxed after a hard-working day in my university.Finally, sometimes, they make me think about life's lessons of love, friendship and family by touching stories , which is the main reason why i this kind of books.

There are countless things that I love in this world. But the thing I love most is reading book. I started this bobby when i was 8 years old. I often reading books whenever and wherever I can. I read news, story books and novels and especially have passion for discovery books. Reading is an incredibly inexpensive hobby that provides so many benefits. Book help me widen my knowledge of the world. When I am sad or disheartened, I often mix myself with book. I realize that the life has many meanful things than i thought and i need to try my best for my bright future. Book also bring me more motivation and joy of life. All of parents want to give their children a quality education. I think the best method is let them read book, regardless of any kind of books, as long as those book are wholesome books. I have no intention of of this useful hobby. In future, I want to read and more book.
