1. Well. here I'm in England. Thank you for your kind letter. You ask me what it's like here. I must say that it's pretty good/well and I'm good/well . You'll never guess what happened to me today. And I promise I'm not making it up. I was in a shop at lunchtime. There was a tall woman in the shop. She was trying on hats, She picked up a blue one and put it on. I remember thinking it looked good on her. I had tried on some gloves and was just taking them off. The woman came over, picked up some gloves and put them on too. Then she started looking at some bags. She dropped one on the floors by my feet. I bent down to pick it up and when I turned round she was just going out. And she was still wearing the clothes! I ran out to stop her taking them away, but then I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. It was the shop owner. I was still holding the bag! And he started telling me off while the woman got away!
