The house I am living in is situated in the suburb of Hanoi city, within thirty minutes drive off the city center. We have lived there for more than twenty years. This is a fairly large house surrounded with a beautiful garden.
My house consists of four bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung on the walls. At night, the color neon lights increase the beauty and coziness of the room. There, on Sundays and holidays my father usually spends his time playing chess or drinking tea with his friends. My mother and my younger sisters are kind and hard-working women. They often keep the house clean and tidy.
On hot days of summer, we usually take meals in the garden, under a big tree. It is fairly cool and quiet here. We enjoy our meals in the melodious twitters of birds. On stormy and rainy nights, all family members gather in the living-room, watching television or telling each other about their daily activities.
I love my house very much because it is the place where I was born and have grown up in the education of my father and in the tender loving care of my mother. I have spent my whole childhood in the love and affection of my dear ones with so many sweet memories.

Hi everyone, my name is Thu Hien. I will introduce my family to you. Our family has 4 people including my father, my mother, my younger brother and me. My father is an engineer at a construction site near my home. My father is very busy. He usually had to stand outside all day. So he has a tanned skin. However, one day he still spends time playing with me. My mother is a good housewife. Every day I can eat delicious dishes that I cook. Mother takes care of her family very well. Before I go to bed, my mother usually reads me a story. My brother is 10 years old this year. Very good boy. I often play with him in my free time so my mom can do other things. I love my family very much.
My house is the place where I love the best. It’s located in Phuc Tho District,Ha Noi City. My house is quite wide, its area is approximately 90 square metres. There is a garden in front of my house. The garden brings to my house a natural and peaceful atmosphere. My house has 2 floors and one terrace. Its surface is painted by green and looks very bright and charming. On the first floor, there are three rooms: a living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom. When you come in, the first room you can see is the living-room where my family welcomes guests and relaxes. An ancient sofa and a tea-table with a tea tray on it are arranged quite tidily in the middle of the room. Next to the living room is the kitchen where I love so much because I really cooking for my family. And behind the kitchen is the bathroom, the bathroom are quite clean wide room and very modern. There are two windows in each bed room, it provide the light for the room and make the room to be more airy. Especially, my bedroom is quiet, it is an advantage for me when I prepare lessons plan. Also , my neighbours are incredibly friendly and helpful. You can make friends with them and ask them for help easily. However, there is one thing I do not about living here. It is quiet inconvenient because if you want to here some live music or watch a movie at the cinema, you have to catch a bus to the city centre . Despite that,I still love living here.
