I live in a big city, and my house is not very big since there are only rich people who can afford to live in a spacious house. Every room in my house is just enough for our activities, so we do not have much space for the living room. However, we try our best to decorate it because it is where the whole family gathers after a long day staying outside. We lay down a thick rug on the floor, it both helps to decorate and keep the floor safe from the scratches. To save some space, we put the TV and the loud speakers on the wall. The Play Station, DVD player and other electronic devices are put in a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and we only take them out whenever we want to play something. In the middle of the room is a glass table, we put on the surface a bottle of fresh water and some cups so everyone can have a quick drink before leaving or after coming back to the house. Behind the table is a big white couch, and it can be considered as the biggest thing in the living room. My mother loves the pastel tone, so the walls are painted in cream color; and they all go very well with the couch.
