However, this amount can be reduced by replacing an ordinary 100-watt light bulb with an energy-saving bulb. These bulbs use a quarter of the electricity of standard bulbs and last eieht times longer. Therefore consumers can save about US$7 to US$21 per bulb.

In Europe, there is a labeling scheme for refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and tumble dryers. The label tells the consumers how much energy efficiency each model has, compared with other appliances in the same category.

Ultimately, these innovations will save money as well as conserve the Earth's resources.

Wasting water wastes electricity. Why? Because the biggest use of (1) =>electricity in most cities is supplying water and cleaning it up after it's been (2)=>used ! About 75 percent of the (3) =>water we use in our homes is used in the bathroom. Unless you have (4)=> a low flush toilet, for example, you use about five gallons (5)=> to seven gallons of water with every flush! A leaky toilet can (6)=>waste more than 10,000 gallons of water a year. Wow!

Dripping faucets (7)=> are bad, too. A faucet that leaks (8)=> enough water to fill a soda bottle every 30 minutes will waste 2,912 gallons of water a year.

Another simple way to (9)=> save water and energy is to take shorter showers. You'll use less hot water and water heaters account (10)=> for nearly 1/4 of your home's energy use.

Help, help, help ><

The problem of waste energy is a big problem. Many people don't know about how to save energy, so I want to tell them. The first, we should save electricity such as: turn off the light before going bed or going out, keep the door fridge closed,...The second, we should save water such as: turn off the faucet after using or take a short shower instead of bad,...The third, we should save the gas such as: prepare food carefully before turning on the gas cooker or go to school by bus instead of go by motorbikes or cars,...So we should learn about how to save energy or useing energy reasonable.
