Hello. I am going to tell you about my favourite person.
My favourite person is my best friend, Hoa. She is twelve years old. Hoa and I go to the same school and we have been together for seven years. Hoa is very beautiful. She has an oval face and long black hair. She is slim and tall. She is clever and hard-working. She is very funny, too. She often makes jokes and we all laugh.
She is very fond of music. When she has free time, she often listens to her favourite songs from computer with me. At weedend, we usually go to music shops to buy new CDs. Of the famous pop singer, she prefers Lady Gaga but I prefer Katy Parry.
She also spends an hour after dinner watching the programme "The World Here and There". She likes it bacause it widens her knowledge.
I like being with her. We often do our homework together in the afternoon and she helps me a lot. Sometimes, she comes to my house for dinner. I also like her because I always have her shoulders when I cry.
I love Hoa very much and we will be best friend forever.

Among my friends, I cherish the most is Hong. She is a good student of my class, she lived with her mother in a small house near my house. She has short black hair, oval face and brown eyes. What particularly struck me about her was the smile. She looks so lovely when he smiles. She is a form of friends that I can share everything. She always believed and helped me in every situation. She is gentle and endearing all friends. She likes Literacy, reading, listening to music and go under heaven mua. Learning English takes an important and valuable part of a person`s education, especially for people working in companies using English as a main language. There are many explanations for the importance of learning English:
– Learning English helps people communicate and travel easily. Especially, it helps people from different countries work together.
– Learning English is a good opportunity for your career. You can communicate with international customers and partners without language barriers to get more opportunities.
– English is the main language of newspapers and books. In your work, it helps you understand documents relating to your job.
Topic 3: Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam.The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ
In my oppinion, i like cozy and fresh Tets atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about any thịng
" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.

My mother is an important person in my life for many reasons. She is a strong woman, very intelligent, and has a great heart. First, my mother is a strong woman that always fights for what she wants. She believes that in life nothing comes easily. For example, she had to raise my brothers and I by herself due to the fact that my father was always traveling because of his type of work. She had a job, took care of us, and still found time to go to school.Next, I admire my mother because of her intelligence. She is a very smart and well educated woman. She loves to read, and she also writes a lot. For example, she keeps a journal where she writes a little bit about everything including politics, religion, food, and much more. She likes to keep her mind busy, and she also likes to be informed about things that happen in the world.Most important of all, she has a great heart. She is always trying to help everyone. For instance, every year she participates in voluntary events. She helps families to find jobs, collects food, books, and clothes for the poor. In addition, she is an amazing mother; a sweet and loving mother that is always here for us.In conclusion, for these reasons I think my mother is a great person, and she inspires me a lot because she is very strong, intelligent, and has a great heart.

It is true that more and more inventions are being made which have made life more comfortable than what it was before. Internet is one of the greatest inventions in 20 th century. The Internet is like a network of networks where any computer can link up to information stored within it. I strongly believe that internet is an integral part of the development of society.
There are many advantages to using the internet. First of all, Internet is a great mean of communication. Distance is no longer a matter of concern when we can send mails within a few seconds or make cheap internet phone call. We can also update ourselves with the latest news in the world with some simple mouse clicks. Internet can be used to send messages, also known as emails, to friends and family anywhere on the Earth. It can be used to keep in contact with friends or family who are currently overseas as there are many messenger services available on the internet. Another biggest advantage of the internet would be information. The internet is full of information about any topic we can think about, ranging from news to services or even movies. There are several search tools like google or yahoo that we can use for research about any topic that we want to find data on. Nowadays, even schools are making use of the internet by asking the students to do research or collect data from the internet. Entertainment is also one of the many advantages of the internet. With the internet, we will not feel bored anymore as there are countless games that can be free downloaded from the web. We can also use the internet to surf the web, enter chat rooms or even watch movies for free on the internet. Chat rooms have also helped people to find their lifelong partners.
Besides that, many services are also provided on the internet ranging from purchasing and booking tickets for movies, hotel reservations and restaurant booking in case you want to eat in a very crowded restaurant. Even with all these advantages, many people believe that someone who pays too much attention to online activities may become passive, sluggish in real life because of their lacks of communication, and physical activities. However, all of us also cannot doubt of their benefits.
In short, I completely believe that the internet is good for our life today and in the future. However, we should use it for right purposes in order to take advantages effectively.

My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.
