= -4x3 + 4x2 + 48x - 3x3 + 3x2 - 3x
= -7x3 + 7x2 + 45x
2. a) 4x( x - 5 ) - ( x - 1 )( 4x - 3 ) = 5
<=> 4x2 - 20x - ( 4x2 - 7x + 3 ) = 5
<=> 4x2 - 20x - 4x2 + 7x - 3 = 5
<=> -13x - 3 = 5
<=> -13x = 8
<=> x = -8/13
b) 6( x - 3 )( x - 4 ) - 6x( x - 2 ) = 4
<=> 6( x2 - 7x + 12 ) - 6x2 + 12x = 4
