a. $=|3+\sqrt{2}|-|3-2\sqrt{2}|=(3+\sqrt{2})-(3-2\sqrt{2})$

$=3\sqrt{2}$

b. $=|\sqrt{7}-2\sqrt{2}|-|\sqrt{7}+2\sqrt{2}|$

$=(2\sqrt{2}-\sqrt{7})-(\sqrt{7}+2\sqrt{2})$

$=-2\sqrt{7}$

c.

$=|3+\sqrt{5}|+|3-\sqrt{5}|=(3+\sqrt{5})+(3-\sqrt{5})=6$
