I’ve just returned from a four-day trip to Da Lat with my parents. The trip was very interesting, and I’m eager to tell you about it. We stayed in a mini hotel near Xuan Huong lake. Walking around the lake and enjoying the fresh cool air, we felt very comfortable. I live in an area of London called Maida Vale. It’s quite near the center, but there are parks nearby where I often take my dog, Mickey, for a walk. I live with my parents and my younger brother, Paul. My father works for the post office and my mother has a part-time job as a nurse.
I go to the local comprehensive school, where I have a lot of friends. I like most subjects, but not all of them! In the evening I sometimes visit friends or stay at home and listen to music, and at the weekends I like going swimming or horse-riding.
At the moment I’m working very hard because I have exams soon, so I’m spending a lot of time in the library!

if you want to see the highest waterfall in the world, you have to go to Venezuela. there, you can find the angelfalls - a spectacular sight. we went there last year and we were very impressed. we walked in the countryside for about an hour when suddenly we heard the sound of water. as we approached the waterfall, we couldn't believe how loud the water was. it was the first time we have ever seen a waterfall and if we had known how amazing it was, we would have taken a video camera with us. we hope we will return one day to see this wonder of nature again
