My name is Mai, I am now a student in a high school in District 5 of Ho Chi Minh city. My family has 3 people, and they are my parents and I. I have one special thing which makes me different from my friends is that I have not lived with my parents since I was 12 years old, but I live with my grandmother. My grandmother takes a very good care of me although she is quite old now. Every day, she cooks, does the laundries, and irons my clothes. As for my parents, I only meet them on the weekends. My father has a severe look on his face, but his personality is complete opposite. He loves me and always treats me with kindness and consideration. He has never scolded me, but he only gave me good advices whenever I have done something wrong. My mother is a very understanding person, so I can share my girlish things with her. B1. I live an ordinary life, but I have something special habits in my daily routine. I usually wake up at 6 o’clock in weekdays, and I always have breakfast at home. A lot of my friends to have breakfast at the school canteen to chat with each other, but prefer my mother’s delicious and nutritious dishes more than those processed foods at canteen. After breakfast, I spend about ten minutes just to brush my teeth and make sure they are all clean since I do not want to replace them with implants once they are decayed. My father is always the one who takes me to school because my mother does not trust my driving ability. I have lunch break at 12 o’clock, and I choose to take the bus back home to have lunch with my mother instead of eating at the canteen with my friends. All of my classes end at 5 o’clock, and my father always wait for me at our familiar spot to take me home. Sometimes I go out with my best friends, but most of the time I just go home to watch my favorite TV shows. I have a habit of watching TV while eating dinner, and I feel that the food is not as delicious as usual if my mother does not let me watch something on TV or my phone. After finish all of my homework, I spend some time for my little hobbies. What I love to do every night is reading books. They are not some “serious” books that I to read, I just comics such as Doraemon, Conan, and Pokemon etc. Whenever I do not have new books to read; I choose to play video games. My father sometimes joins me in a dual match, and I am always the winner because he is not good at video games. After spending half an hour in the shower and ten more minutes to clean my teeth, I go to sleep at about 10 o’clock. Somebody might say I have a boring life, but I am happy and satisfied with it.

I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old in the next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard study. On every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule is changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time to my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chores and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happiness moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I understand that there is nothing that is more important than my family. I love my parents and my lovely sister so much.
