We have to do something about pollution. Even though there are warnings about global warming, companies don’t do anything to reduce pollution.

Our sky, air, rivers, beaches and countryside are becoming rubbish dumps. The air is so polluted it is giving children breathing problems.

Polluted rivers have no fish left in them and beaches are too dangerous to walk on because of the garbage everywhere. It seems a lot of people don’t care.

I think there should be big fines for polluters. I don’t mind paying more for things if they can be made with less pollution.

The problem is that companies are more interested in profits than pollution. We have only just started looking at our carbon footprint.

My partner's carbon footprint is small. He is considerate because he always protect the enviroment: he takes shower instead of baths, walks or rides a bike when travelling short ditances and goes to school by bike. He could try harder to use a hand fan to keep cool in summer. By saving sources of energy, he can help the enviroment to be better.

1 Air travel is usually the largest component of the carbon footprint of frequent flyers. A single return flight from London to New York – including the complicated effects on the high atmosphere – contributes to almost a quarter of the average person’s annual emissions. The easiest way to make a big difference is to go by train or not take as many flights.

2 The second most important lifestyle change is to eat less meat, with parular emphasis on meals containing beef and lamb. Cows and sheep emit large quantities of methane, a powerful global warming gas. A vegan diet might make as much as a 20% difference to your overall carbon impact but simply cutting out beef will deliver a significant benefit on its own.

3 Home heating is next. Poorly insulated housing requires large quantities of energy to heat. If you have properly insulated the loft and filled the cavity wall, the most important action you can take is to draught-proof the house, something you can do yourself. Those with solid brick or stone walls will also benefit from adding insulation, but the financial benefits are unly to cover the cost of doing the work, over time.

Talk about the things you like doing in your free time

There are three activities I like to do in my free time. The first is cartoon. I like watch cartoons very much. I love “Total Spies” most because it is very exciting and funny. I often watch it with my friends to relax. Second, I also play football with my brother and my friends when I have free time. I often play it in our school yard. I think playing football is sport which helps us have good health and study better. Final, I like reading books best. Since reading books are good, you can learn about another culture and again your knowledge. Moreover, it is a form of entertainment, which is useful to our life. All in all, I find that if I haven’t anything to do in my free time, I will be boring. Therefore, you should also choose some activities for yourself to do, which helps you have healthy way of life.

talk about your hobby

My hobby is playing games. I started thí hobby whne i was a child, about six years ago. I think my hobby so easy. All you need is time, smart brain and the most important thing is patience. If you lucky, you will think it's easy but if you unlucky, it's so hard to level up. So, i think my hobby interesting and usefull because it make me smarter and relax. I will continue this hobby in the future and grow it more and more

Tet is the most important celebration in Viet Nam.It occurs in late January or early February.Some days before Tet ,people clean and decorate their house with flower and picture.They go shopping to buy cakes ,new clothes and many other things.During Tet,people enjoy traditional food such as:sticky rice cakes,Nem ,Gio and fruit jam.On the first day of the Tet people often go to the pagoda or church to pray a happy new year.Then they visit their relatives,neighbors,and

Every night before going to bed, I usually have a habit of reading stories on the websites on phone together with drinking a glass of milk. The sites I read are free reading sites for teenagers with many genres of books for readers to choose. I often choose to read stories that have gentle or cheerful content which are not too stressful or complicated in order to help me fall asleep easily. Actually this habit is very difficult to change, and not doing it means that my life style is also affected. There was a day when I was too busy with the work; I did not have time to read the book because it was too late at night. I needed to sleep immediately so that I am able to go to school on time. However; I could not sleep because I did not read the stories as usual. As a result, I slept two hours later than normal instead of spending 30 more minutes to read the stories. vforum.vn From that day on, I tried to arrange my schedule to spend some time reading before bed because I did not want to lose my sleep again. My mother often complains that I use the phone too much at night, and she is afraid that reading the phone might affect my eyes in a bad way. I also know the harmful effects of reading on the screen, so I gradually changed to read books. It turned out that reading books also helped me sleep well, and it also limited the negative effects on my eyes. If the allocation in time is reasonable, my habit of reading something before bedtime is really not that bad. Besides being able to read good stories, I also develop my own ability to write because reading really helps my vocabulary become much richer. That is a good habit that I will continue to do before I go to bed, and I always hope it can brings me nice dreams.

Mỗi tối trước khi đi ngủ tôi thường có thói quen đọc truyện trên trang web bằng điện thoại cùng với việc uống một ly sữa. Trang web tôi đọc là những trang web đọc truyện miễn phí cho giới trẻ với thật nhiều thể loại truyện để người đọc tùy chọn. Tôi thường chọn đọc những truyện có nội dung nhẹ nhàng hoặc vui vẻ, không quá căng thẳng hay phức tạp để giúp tôi dễ đi vào giấc ngủ hơn. Thật sự đây là một thói quen rất khó thay đổi, và việc không thực hiện nó đồng nghĩa với việc nhịp sống của tôi bị ảnh hưởng. Có một ngày nọ do tôi quá bận rộn với công việc, tôi đã không có thời gian để đọc truyện vì khi đó đã là tối muộn. Tôi cần phải ngủ ngay lập tức để ngày hôm sau có thể đến trường đúng giờ. Thế nhưng chính vì không đọc truyện như mọi ngày mà tôi đã không thể nào ngủ được. Kết quả là tôi đã ngủ muộn hơn bình thường đến 2 giờ thay vì dành thêm 30 phút để đọc truyện. Kể từ hôm ấy, tôi đã cố sắp xếp thời gian biểu của mình để dành một khoảng thời gian đọc truyện trước khi ngủ vì tôi không muốn mình lại bị mất ngủ. Mẹ tôi thường phàn nàn vì tôi sử dụng điện thoại quá nhiều vào ban đêm, và bà sợ việc đọc truyện trên điện thoại như thế sẽ ảnh hưởng không tốt đến mắt tôi. Tôi cũng biết tác hại của việc đọc trên màn hình, nên tôi đã dần thay đổi bằng việc đọc sách. Hóa ra việc đọc sách cũng giúp tôi ngủ rất ngon, và nó còn hạn chế những ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến mắt tôi. Nếu phân bổ thời gian hợp lý thì thói quen đọc truyện trước khi ngủ này của tôi cùng không hẳn là không tốt. Bên cạnh việc được đọc những bộ truyện hay, tôi còn rèn luyện được cho mình khả năng viết lách vì đọc truyện giúp vốn từ ngữ của tôi trở nên phong phú hơn rất nhiều. Đó là một thói quen tốt mà tôi sẽ tiếp tục làm trước khi đi ngủ, và tôi luôn hi vọng rằng nó có thể đem đến cho tôi những giấc mơ đẹp.

 I live an ordinary life, but I have something special habits in my daily routine. I usually wake up at 6 o’clock in weekdays, and I always have breakfast at home. A lot of my friends like to have breakfast at the school canteen to chat with each other but prefer my mother’s delicious and nutritious dishes more than those processed foods at the canteen. After breakfast, I spend about ten minutes just to brush my teeth and make sure they are all clean since I do not want to replace them with implants once they are decayed. My father is always the one who takes me to school because my mother does not trust my driving ability. I have a lunch break at 12 o’clock, and I choose to take the bus back home to have lunch with my mother instead of eating at the canteen with my friends. All of my classes end at 5 o’clock, and my father always waits for me at our familiar spot to take me home. Sometimes I go out with my best friends, but most of the time I just go home to watch my favorite TV shows. I have a habit of watching TV while eating dinner, and I feel that the food is not as delicious as usual if my mother does not let me watch something on TV or my phone. After finish all of my homework, I spend some time on my little hobbies. What I love to do every night is reading books. They are not some “serious” books that I like to read, I just like comics such as Doraemon, Conan, and Pokemon etc. Whenever I do not have new books to read; I choose to play video games. My father sometimes joins me in a dual match, and I am always the winner because he is not good at video games. After spending half an hour in the shower and ten more minutes to clean my teeth, I go to sleep at about 10 o’clock. Somebody might say I have a boring life, but I am happy and satisfied with it.

Tất cả các lớp học của tôi kết thúc lúc 5 giờ đồng hồ, và cha tôi luôn đợi tôi ở điểm quen thuộc của chúng tôi để đưa tôi về nhà. Đôi khi tôi đi chơi với những người bạn thân nhất của mình, nhưng phần lớn thời gian tôi chỉ về nhà để xem các chương trình truyền hình yêu thích của mình. Nowadays, the health is important because if we have a good health, we can make any things in our life. However, it isn't really easy to have a good health. For me, I have some ideas to keep a good health.

Firstly, if we usually do exercise, we will be strongly. Doing exercise is good because it helps our body to relax. So, we are comfortable to go to school or go to work. Besides, it also helps us avoid illness. For exam, when we do exercise in the morning, we can breathe fresh air.

Secondly, we eat many vegetables which help us to live in lifelong. Green vegetable contain many types of vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin B so on. Besides, it also supports a lot of fibers which reduces cholesterol in blood.

In conclusion, there are many of methods to keep a good health. For me, doing exercise and eating a lot of vegetables are the most important because they bring many benefits for health. I think we have to make it everyday to have a good health.

Topic 1: Talk about my summer vacation: Last month, my summer vacation was still boring . I had nothing to do. I could only watch TV, sleep, eat meals all day. These things may be interesting for you, but it's boring with me. I wanted to go on a trip but I didn't had any one.
However, my summer vacation is ok now. I don't have time to watch TV any more because I have many things to do. I go to school to join some extra classes and start to practise being a theacher (because I want to be a teacher in the future). Exspecially, I have joined this forum for 2 weeks, which makes me happy. 
Therefore, I think my summer vacation is more and more interesting.

 

Topic2: Talk about your room Today, I'd like to talk about my bedroom. It's small and simply but it's very comfortable. I have a wide bed, a red blanket and two pillows. I don't have a mattress because the weather in here is hot most of the year. If it become cold, I will use a blanket instead of mattress. This way is convenient because a mattress is very expensive. I always feel comfortable in my bedroom so I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow every night. I never forget to say "Have a good night" to my parents before sleeping. Moreover, I like giving a message to my boyfriend "I hope you have a sweet dream about me". I love him very much and he is my first thought in the morning and my last thought at night. I hope he also loves me as I love him.

My mother was tossing and turning in 2 days. She had sleeping pills but she didn't drink them because that's too dangerous. My father advises her to see a doctor tomorrow. I hope she get well soon.
