Dear Linda,

Are you and your family doing well? According to the letter you sent me yesterday, I learned that you are coming to Vietnam and will be staying in Hai Duong, where I currently live. So I am writing this letter to introduce you to some famous tourist attractions and local dishes.

Hai Duong City, located in the northern part of Vietnam, is known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes. One of the must-visit places in Hai Duong is the Con Son-Kiep Bac Historical Site. This historical site is home to the Con Son Pagoda and the Kiep Bac Temple, which are important landmarks in Vietnamese history. Visitors can explore the ancient architecture, learn about the local legends, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of these sacred places. Another popular destination in Hai Duong is the Thanh Mien District, famous for its traditional craft villages. Visiting these craft villages is not only a chance to admire the craftsmanship but also an opportunity to support the local economy by purchasing unique handmade souvenirs.

When it comes to food, Hai Duong is renowned for its delicious specialties. One of the most famous dishes is "Banh Gai," a sticky rice cake wrapped in banana leaves and filled with mung bean paste. The cake has a unique aroma and a slightly sweet taste, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Another must-try dish is "Bun Ca Ro Dong," a noodle soup made with snakehead fish, fresh herbs, and rice noodles. The combination of flavors creates a refreshing and satisfying meal. In addition to these attractions and dishes, Hai Duong City also hosts various cultural festivals throughout the year, showcasing the vibrant traditions and customs of the local people. These festivals offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and experience the lively atmosphere of Hai Duong.

I hope this introduction has piqued your interest in visiting Hai Duong City. Should you have any further questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to welcoming you to Hai Duong City soon.

Best wishes,

Nhuan Nguyen

Dear Mary,

It's great to know that you're coming to Viet Nam. I hope you’ll have a good time spending one day in Ha Noi.

There are many interesting places in the city, but I think within one day you are able to visit three places. The first place I suggest is Viet Nam National Museum of History. Since you like history very much, it's a must-see place. There's an extensive collection of artefacts tracing ret Sam's history. They're arranged chronologically from primitive to modem times. The second place is Hoan Kiem Lake. It's one of the symbols of Ha Noi. There you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and visit Ngoc Son Temple. You can also go for a walk at the Old Quarter, wander around the old streets and some ancient houses to explore Vietnamese culture. Fortunately, these places are close to one another, so you can walk around easily.

Tell me when you're coming, so I can show you around these places.

Look forward to seeing you soon!

Best wishes,

Hong Anh

Hello Linda, my name's Tuan. I am in grade 8.

Today, I write this letter to introduce my country - Vietnam. Have you ever go to Viet Nam?

My country is not big, but there are a lot of people here. The capital of Vietnam is Ha Noi. It's very beautiful with 36 rows. The food here is rather good. The city is the biggest, bigger than Ha Noi is Ho Chi Minh City, it medium as mart, it has the most people in Vietnam, about 7.521.138 people. Tell about the food here, we can't fail about snacks/fastfood. At night, Ho Chi Minh City is very great. If you can go to Viet Nam, I will guide you to there.

Love,
