Dear Josie
Thank you very much for your last letter. It was great to hear about your holiday in Cornwall. But I was sorry to hear that the wea ther was so bad.
Everything is going well here. My course is interesting and I’ve met a lot of nice people. The other students are very friendly. The most exciting thing is the drama group. I joined it last month and I’m really enjoying it. We’re going to do a play at the and of term and I’m going to have one of the main parts. A TV company is making a film about the university and they are going to film the show. Yes, your little sister is going to be famous.
Write soon and give my love to Mum and Dad.

Tôi luôn có tình cảm sâu sắc và tri ân với gia đình của mình. Họ là nguồn động viên và niềm tự hào lớn nhất trong cuộc sống của tôi. Tôi cũng trân trọng và yêu quý thầy cô giáo, những người đã dành thời gian và kiến thức để hướng dẫn tôi trở thành người trưởng thành. Bạn bè của tôi là những người hỗ trợ, chia sẻ niềm vui và khó khăn trong cuộc sống. Tôi biết ơn tình cảm mà tôi được nhận và sẽ luôn ghi nhớ và trân trọng những mối quan hệ quý giá này.

Những người may mắn nhất trên đời với em là khi họ có một gia đình dù hoàn chỉnh hay không. Mẹ cho em một cảm giác được yêu thương, trân trọng, nuông chiều và nhiều lúc là sự quan tâm về tương lai của em mà rầy mắng đủ điều. Ba cho em cảm giác được bảo vệ và an toàn. Em trai cho em cảm giác mệt mỏi của người làm chị. Mỗi khi ba mẹ em đi làm thì lập tức nó sẽ biến thành một thứ gì đó rất phiền hà, nhưng khi có ai bắt nạt em ấy thì em lại muốn bảo vệ hết mực cho nó. Có lẽ đó là tình yêu thương mà chỉ máu mủ ruột rà mới có. Để có thể chia sẻ hết tình cảm, em xin bày tỏ rằng Người phụ nữ xinh đẹp nhất trong mắt em là mẹ, luôn luôn chăm lo từng cái ăn miếng mặc cho em. Hi sinh thanh xuân đẹp đẽ của mình khi mới 22 tuổi, sinh thành em và nuôi nấng, mẹ kể lại lúc đó vất vả mệt mỏi lắm!. Em càng thương mẹ nhiều hơn; còn ba rất khó khăn nhưng lúc nào cũng quan tâm em từng cái nhỏ nhặt đơn giản nhất. Tất cả làm cho em có một cảm nhận: Gia đình mình thật hạnh phúc!
