I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and Tet holiday in the city is very bustling occasion. Within a month before the Lunar New Year, the streets are very crowded, many people go out to do shopping and enjoy the holiday scenery. My parents are busy cleaning the house, and I am busy thinking about what to wear and where to go. Right after we have a break from school, my friends and I spend most of the time on Nguyen Hue Flower Street to take pictures. However, Nguyen Hue Street is not the only beautiful place, almost everywhere in the main streets are wonderful for people to have great pictures. They are beautifully decorated with bright lights, and the apricot blossom - the symbol of New Year's Day can be found everywhere. On New Year's Eve, my family and I watch fireworks from Sai Gon Bridge; we have to go there before nine o’clock to get a good spot. Early in the first morning of the year, we go to the pagoda to pray for peace and health, and then I accompany my parents to visit my grandparents and relatives. Tet is my favorite holiday because it is an occasion to enjoy the festive atmosphere, delicious food, and receive lucky money. I wish that Tet could last for a month.

Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

Mẫu 1: Among my friends, I cherish the most is Hong. She is a good student in my class, she lived with her mother in a small house near my house. She has short black hair, oval face and brown eyes. What parularly struck me about her was the smile. She looks so lovely when he smiles. She is a friend that I can share everything with. She always believed and helped me in every situation. She is gentle and endearing all friends. She s Literacy, reading, listening to music. Hong and I have a lot in common with each other, and have become good friends over the past 5 years. Although time has passed long in any case, Hong and I are also trying to keep this friendship.
Mẫu 2: My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place. My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy. She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. Tet is a national and family festival. Tet is the time for family gatherings. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Tet is one of the most important holiday in Viet Nam and many Asian countries. Tet or Lunar New year is often held at the end of January or the beginning of February. Vietnamese people always do many different things to prepare for Tet. Before Tet some weeks, people always repaint their house, clean the house and around. They also decorate their houses with Kumquat tree, cherry blossom branches or many colourful flowers. Then they make many traditional food such as Chung cake, pickled onions. Children are bought new clothes by their parents. All of the family members gather to give each other the best wishes and have a meal on New Year's Eve. On the first day of new year, people visit relatives’ house and give lucky money to children or the elderly. In the rest time of Tet, people can go to pagodas to pray for good things, peace, and health. To conclusion, Tet is an occasion for all people to reunion and relax after a hard-working year.

Tết là một trong những ngày lễ quan trọng nhất ở Việt Nam và nhiều nước châu Á. Tết Nguyên Đán thường được tổ chức vào cuối tháng Giêng hoặc đầu tháng Hai. Người Việt Nam luôn làm nhiều việc khác nhau để chuẩn bị cho Tết. Trước Tết vài tuần, bao giờ người ta cũng sơn lại nhà, dọn dẹp nhà cửa và xung quanh. Thời gian còn lại của Tết, mọi người có thể đi lễ chùa để cầu những điều tốt lành, bình an và sức khỏe. Tóm lại, Tết là dịp để mọi người đoàn tụ, thư giãn sau một năm làm việc vất vả.

I love Tet the most.It is also called Luar New Year,which is held mainly in Asian countries.On this holiday,we will have a lot to do.Before Tet about a week or two,people started to sell and buy flower,fruit,snacks,...along with incense.You can buy them easily because things are sell along the street.It is a beautyful and fun sight.Then,people will repaint the house,clean and decorate it.The houses are look so beautyful!Then on the 29th of the 12th lunar month,we will wait until the clock strike 12o'clock.It is very fun but also tired to wait for the time of the old year finally pass.On the first day,people will sing karaoke and eat the traditional foods,sweets and alot.Then we will offer foods,flower and incense for our ancestors and visit our relatives.I love this festival because it is fun and give me happiness,and giving me a great time with my family,friends and ralatives.

Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam.
The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ
In my oppinion, i like cozy and fresh Tets atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about any thịng

TET in Vietnam was the big celebration for the country. In those days every village, the house, everyone off work and fun way to reunite. Tet there is a divinity and the opportunity to refresh everything. The day he finished the regular crops, the villagers made heaven and earth Thanksgiving. SPRING people share the joy of warm, giving each other gifts to wish one another a new year and everything is the custom and many other means.
Vietnamese people celebrate Tet with TET is a sacred trust on reunification, a new day, that day is a day of thanksgiving and hope.
Days of Being Together - SPRING is always on reunification of families. No matter who trade, work or attend school in the remote, they often try to save money and time to celebrate with the family. That's a wish that all people, as well as people who go far in the festival are expected to meet and hang out with family.
SPRING is also the day to reunite with those who were lost. Dinner the night from 30, before midnight, Buddhist families were invited to burn incense to the deceased grandparents and their ancestors who died of fun to eat with the children SPRING grandchildren.
SPRING day or they also perform rituals, to offer incense to the gods according to legend was blessed our family is more healthy, more money, more luck and happiness in past.

It is often said "three-day Tet" but actually air all month long TET. The TET celebrations spread from within the family, to relatives, to neighbors and to the village, where the first is the happy spring. Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

Có lẽ những ngày giáp Tết đối với rất nhiều đứa trẻ xóm chợ là những ngày mà chúng tìm thấy niềm vui và sự thích thú. Nhưng những ngày Tết lại là điều mà chúng mong đợi hơn bao giờ hết. Ngày Tết quê em thực sự ý nghĩa và là điều đáng nhớ để bắt đầu một năm mới.
Mùa xuân đến, Tết đã gõ của mọi nhà, niềm vui nhân đôi, hạnh phúc bội phần. Trẻ con chờ mong ngày Tết còn nhiều hơn là người lớn. Người lớn bảo Tết vui vẻ nhưng có nhiều điều phải lo toan hơn, sắm sửa nhiều thứ hơn và tốn nhiều tiền hơn. Nhưng trẻ con không quan tâm điều đó, vì Tết là dịp để chúng em có thêm nhiều quần áo mới, được nhận lì xì, quà bánh ăn không hết và không phải học bài. Có lẽ đó là điều đứa trẻ nào cũng thích thú.
Em không biết ngày Tết ở những nơi khác như thế nào nhưng ngày Tết ở quê em luôn tràn đầy tiếng cười và lời chúc phúc cho nhau một năm mới an lành, phát tài phát lộc. Trên những con đường nhỏ còn bốc mùi sỏi đá, đám cỏ phủ kín lối đã được người dân ở thôn xóm cắt tỉa rất sạch sẽ. Vì ở xóm em cứ chiều 30 Tết mọi nhà lại rủ nhau đi quét dọn đường làng ngõ xóm để chuẩn bị đón Tết.
Ai cũng háo hức và chăm chỉ, không ai tị nạnh ai, mọi người làm việc hăng say, nhiệt tình. Đám con nít tíu ta tíu tít không ngờ, cứ đòi giành phần ba mẹ để làm, nhưng làm được một lúc là chán, là bỏ đó đi chơi. Những lá cờ Tổ quốc được treo cao trên mái ngói đỏ tươi, bay phấp phới giữa bầu trời tạo nên không khí vui tươi, phấn khởi. Có lẽ mùa xuân khiến cho không khí của mọi nhà trở nên ấm áp và an lành.
Mặc dù thời tiết vẫn còn lạnh, sương đầu ngày còn lảng bảng bám kín trên cành cây nhưng nụ cười của mọi người luôn ở trên môi. Ngày Tết, trẻ con háo hức, lựa chọn quần áo đẹp và mới nhất để mặc, để đi chơi, để chúc thọ ông bà. Đứa trẻ nào cũng kiếm cái áo có túi thật to và rộng để đựng bánh kẹo, tiền lì xì. Đó cũng là điều mà em mong đợi trong suốt những ngày Tết.
