3) Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country.
Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.
i taking part in the community service and volunteer work.Last year , our class joined the community service and volunteer work . We did many things . Firstly , we donated books , warm clothes to street children . Secondly , we raised money to buy uniforms, books and pens for poor students in ( ghi tên trường bạn vào ) secondary school . Thirdly, we provided the poor with food and drinks.Fourthly,we cooked free meals for homeless people . Finally , we opened evening classes for street children . I to eat many different kinds of food, but my favorite one of all time is Pho. Pho is already a so famous food of Vietnam, and most people will immediately think of it when we mention about Vietnamese cuisine. It is understandable that many people fall in love with Pho, because it has featuring smell and taste that we cannot find anywhere else. To have a good pot of soup, we need to have many different kinds of spices such as anise, cinnamon, etc; and the most important thing are the bones. Those bones needed to be cooked for long hours to get the sweet and tasty stock, and then we combine other ingredients. The noodle is also special since it is not other kinds of noodle. It is made from rice flour, and it is thicker than the others. After pouring the stock into a bowl of noodle, the next step is to put on the beef slices and other toppings. I to eat rare beef slices and meat ball, and they are also the basic toppings that Vietnamese people to choose. We finish the bowl with some basil, coriander, bean sprout and black pepper. Besides, we can also other side dishes to eat with Pho egg and blood in boiling stock. All of them create a harmonious flavor that can attract even the strictest eaters. Although Pho has many versions from different parts of the country, it is always the national dish that almost all Vietnamese love to eat. I have been eating Pho for about 20 years, and I will continue to choose it as my favorite food forever.
My first visit to Nha Trang, the coastal city, was three years ago. It was a pleasant and memorable trip.
Nha trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Viet nam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs, the soft sigh of the sea breeze, clean white sands and turquoise waters, it all makes for a stunning landscape. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach - a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands, that is Hon Tre where is the largest of the islands.
Nha Trang is the city in hamoney, its fine wather, favorite position and friendly people bring it a certain balance. Nha Trang is a great holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back
I have a best friend named Nha, we have been together since we were just little kids. She has beautiful bright skin and big black eyes. We have a lot of things in common, such as we love the same band, food and books. She and I even share the same name, and it is a small surprise for anyone who has talked to us. Nha is not my classmate, but we always help each other with the homework and school projects. We spend every minute in our break time to talk about all the things that happen in class, and people usually ask what can even makes us laugh that hard. Sometimes I think it is we have been best mates since forever, and I hope that we will be happy this for a very long time.

I have a best friend ever in my life named Ashutosh. He is someone special in my life who helps me in my every difficulty. He is someone who showed me right path. He always has time for me even in his busy schedule. He is my neighbour that’s why we become together even after school time. We go together at picnic whenever we get vacation from school. We enjoy our festival holidays together and with each other’s family. We go to see Ramlila fair in the Ramlila ground together and enjoy a lot. We always take part in every extracurricular activities of the school. We love to play cricket and carom at home. He is more than a mentor for me because he always gives me right decisions whenever I become in difficulty.
He is so special for me in my life; I never do anything without him. He always become in a good mood and never compromise with wrong ways. He always does right things and motivates every one of us in the classroom to do the same. He always has smiling face even in his difficult times and never let his difficulties to come on his face. He is a good counsellor and loves to explain anything. He cares for his parents, grandparents and other family members. He obeys them always and other old people of the society. I met him first time when I was in the fifth grade and now we are in 8th standard in the same section.
He is very tall and looks different from my other classmates. Once I was very upset because of money problem. I could not buy all necessary books in the class 6. He asked me, what happened and I told him my story. He said that, for this small problem you are so worry and not happy for some days. He laughed and told me that don’t worry we can share all books in the school as well as at home. You don’t need to buy even any single book for whole year. After that he made me laugh through his jokes and stories. I never forget that moment he helped me and always become ready to help him too. He is so pracal and never mixes the personal and professional life. He helps me always whenever I get difficulties in solving my Maths homework. Our s and diss never match however we are best friends.
Me and Minh Anh have been close friends since childhood. Minh Anh's figure is high, your chubby, full face is also lovely. Dark skin tone. Long hair. The black eyes are always open and round like two marbles. The upturned nose and wide smile always reveal two shiny white teeth. In Minh Anh, everyone is dynamic, confident, witty and funny, very likable. Minh Anh is good at Math, and I'm good at Literature. Therefore, we often support each other to study well. Me and Minh Anh play together very comfortably. I hope that when we grow up, we will still be best friends like we are now.

What kind of music do you ? For me, I love Rock. I don’t know what time love it, but just remember that the songs such as “Road to successful day”, “Glass rose” are the songs connected closely with my childhood and up to now, I have still listened to them.
Rock isn’t popular music in Viet Nam, because they are hard to enjoy, not melodious Pop music or Ballad music with love subject. The subjects of Rock music are various, not only love but also other subjects in life. Therefore, there are few of Rock band, famous in Viet Nam such as The Wall, Unlimited, Microwave,… but The Wall is a Rock Band which I love the most, especially Tran Lap singer, unfortunately he died in 2016.
Every day, I often listen to Rock music in square time, and update news, new information and new Rock songs of Viet Nam as well as the world. If in Viet Nam, I love The Wall band, Linkin Park is an international band which I love with a famous song “New Divide” is a main song in the film “Transfomer”.
I think that I will this music in long time. Because, they make me wonderful, not stressful, and get motivation to overcome all difficult problem in life.
