“Stuffed sticky rice cake” is one the most traditional special foods for the lunar new year in Viet Nam. It is made of sticky rice, pork and green bean, all ingredients are wrapped inside a special leaf which calls Lá Dong. The rice and green bean have to be soaked in water for a day. The pork is usually seasoned with pepper & salt for several hours. Banh Chung is boiled for 6 or 8 hours. Nowadays, families in villages still maintain making stuffed sticky rice cake before the lunar New Year but people in the cities do not. They don’t have time to make it and usually go to shops to buy it.”

Keybab rice noodles is one of the most delicious dishes. Grilled pork with rice noodles heaping piles of fresh greens, and a dipping sauce. We can eat “Kebab rice noodles” with Crab Spring Rolls, which has crispy on the outside of this spring roll, then strong crab taste with black pepper flavor on the inside.

Lịch sử quốc gia dân tộc Việt Nam từ khi ra đời tới nay là lịch sử dựng nước và giữ nước gắn bó với nhau. Dựng nước luôn luôn gắn chặt với giữ nước, trong đó dựng nước là yếu tố cơ bản. Phải xây dựng được đất nước hùng mạnh về mọi mặt mới có điều kiện, khả năng chiến thắng các thế lực thù địch và phải giữ được nước mới có điều kiện để xây dựng đất nước. Trong quá trình hình thành và phát triển, truyền thống đó có ảnh hưởng sâu sắc đến hệ tư tưởng và các thành quả tinh thần và vật chất của nhân dân ta.

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam is relic and rich diversity of the city's leading Hanoi, located in the south of Thang Long. Currently, it was the Prime Minister Vietnam put on the list ranked 23 national monuments in particular. Architectural ensemble Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, including: Lake Van, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam and garden director and architectural subjects are Literature - a shrine to Confucius and the Temple of Literature - the first university Vietnam. Maybe everyone knows 'Hanoi Temple of Literature'- Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam - the first relic of Hanoi. It is said that 'Hanoi Temple of Literature' is one of the first universities in the world. Going to visit Hanoi except for Van Mieu, you will be deemed not to visit Hanoi. When you go to Hanoi Temple of Literature, you can explore the history and architecture of this monument.
Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam has two main vestiges, there are: Literature worship Confucius and Chu Van An- Quoc Tu Giam career, who has many good quality of the Vietnamese education South and Quoc Tu Giam. Hanoi Temple of Literature is the first national university in Vietnam with more than 700 years of operation (1076-1802) that has trained thousands of talents for the country.
According to history, the Temple of Literature was built in May 10-1070 of the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong. By 1076, King Ly Nhan Tong established Quoc Tu Giam, initially; it is the only place used for the prince and then expanding to receive students in the whole country.
The size of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam is 54,331m2 including: Van Lake, Giam garden, inner self surrounded by brick walls. The inner self is divided into 5 zones. The first zone begins with the main entrance to the Great Chinese ports. The port gate has unique architecture of two storeys with stylized double dragon Le; inside it has a double dragon of the Nguyen dynasty. The second zone features with Khue Van Cac - a unique architecture built in 1085 (Nguyen dynasty), including 2 floors, 8 roots. Khue Van Cac usually organizes the poetic competition. Today, Khue Van Cac is taken as the symbol of Hanoi capital. The third zone has a square lake called Thien Quang Tinh. Two sides along the lake is two stele garden which store 82 stelae established from 1484 to 1780 in which name, hometown of the doctorate of 82 examination were sculpted. Step through the door into the Great to the Fourth named Bai Duong Van Mieu which has name of outstanding pupils of Confucius along with other famous culture of VietNam. The fifth zone is the old Temple of Literature - the location for the talent selection competitions in the past.
Nowadays, Hanoi Temple of Literature opens daily from 8 AM to 17 PM and cameras are allowed.

ANH HÙNG VÕ NHƯ HƯNG
Võ Như Hưng (tức Võ Như Trích) sinh ngày 5 tháng 5 năm 1929, dân tộc Kinh quê ở xã Điện Nam, huyện Điện Bàn, tỉnh Quảng Nam - Đà Nẵng, nhập ngũ ngày 5 tháng 5 năm 1952. Khi hy sinh đồng chí là trung đội trưởng bộ đội đặc công tỉnh, đảng viên Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam.
Xuất thân trong một gia đình nông dân nghèo, lên 10 tuổi đã phải đi ở cho địa chủ, gia đình lại là cơ sở tốt của ta trong thời kỳ kháng chiến chống Pháp, được cách mạng giáo dục, Võ Như Hưng sớm giác ngộ, nhiều lần đã tình nguyện tòng quân, nhưng vì vóc người nhỏ bé nên không trúng tuyển. Mãi tới năm 1952, đồng chí mới được nhận vào bộ đội, làm chiến sĩ của trung đoàn 303, đã cùng đồng đội chiến đấu trên các chiến trường Quảng Nam, Tây Nguyên... và đã hoàn thành tốt nhiệm vụ. Sau ngày hòa bình lập lại, đồng chí tập kết ra Bắc, đến năm 1960, lại tình nguyện trở về miền Nam chiến đấu. Võ Như Hưng là một trong những dũng sĩ xuất sầc nhất trong 7 dũng sĩ Điện Ngọc.
Cuối năm 1960, trong trận đánh bốt 6 (vùng Điện Bàn), trước giờ xuất phát mặc dù vừa mới qua cơn sốt nặng, được cấp trên cho nghỉ, nhưng Võ Như Hưng vẫn kiên quyết xin đi bằng được. Giữa lúc tình hình chiến đấu đang diễn biến khẩn trương, đồng chí bị một mảnh pháo phạt ngang làm gãy xương tay trái, nhưng vẫn nén đau cùng đồng đội anh dũng tiêu diệt địch cho tới lúc ta làm chủ hoàn toàn trận địa.
Năm 1961, trong trận đánh Nam Thành - một trung tâm huấn luyện biệt kích của địch ở Hòa Cam, cách sân bay Đà Nẵng chừng 500 mét, địch bố phòng rất cẩn mật - đồng chí được giao nhiệm vụ phụ trách mũi tiến công chủ yếu.Vừa bước vào chiến đấu, vì nghe nhầm lệnh, đại bộ phận quân ta đều rút ra, riêng mũi của Võ Như Hưng do nhận lệnh đúng, vẫn xông thẳng vào trung tâm, diệt sở chỉ huy bọn cố vấn Mỹ. Giải quyết xong mục tiêu, biết tin cả đơn vị đã lui quân, đồng chí bình tĩnh xử trí, tổ chức cho anh em yểm hộ nhau rút từng bộ phận, dù ít người, vẫn thu 12 súng và dẫn 9 tù binh về đơn vị an toàn.
Ngày 26 tháng 4 năm 1962, tiểu đội của Võ Như Hưng nhận nhiệm vụ thọc sâu vào lòng địch quấy phá, hỗ trợ cho đợt “phá ấp chiến lược, giải phóng thêm dân, thêm đất” do tỉnh phát động. Tiểu đội đã đi suốt từ vùng Ông Nổi, qua đồn Gò Đá, tới Quảng Lăng, Quảng Hậu, thôn 4 Điện Bàn, về đến Cẩm Sa thì bị 1 tiểu đoàn địch bao vây; và trận đánh nổi tiếng của “Bảy dũng sĩ Điện Ngọc" quanh chiếc giếng cạn đã diễn ra ở đây. Các chiến sĩ thề với nhau: “Quyết chiến đấu tiêu diệt nhiều địch, không chịu để rơi vào tay giặc". Suốt một ngày trời, cả tiểu đoàn địch mở hàng chục đợt xung phong, nhưng lần nào cũng bị đánh bật ra. Cuộc chiến đấu rất không cân sức này càng về chiều càng hết sức gay go quvết liệt. Nhiều lần địch liều chết ùa tới gần, tung lựu đạn xuống lòng giếng; anh em liền chộp lấy, ném trả lại. Tuy nhiên, cũng có quả nổ ngay trong giếng, làm một số hy sinh và hầu hết cả tiểu đội đều đã bị thương.
Trời tối dần, 4 chiến sĩ còn lại quyết mở đường máu, vượt vòng vây. Sau một đợt tập trung lực lượng, tổ chức xung phong mãnh liệt, bất ngờ, các đồng chí đã rút ra an toàn. Đi được một đoạn, kiểm tra lại thấy còn thiếu một chiến sĩ bị thương nặng không theo kịp đồng đội, đồng chí quyết định quay lại tìm bằng được và dìu bạn vượt qua những chặng đường đầy gian khổ, hiểm nguy, ngày ẩn nấp, đêm lại tiếp tục đi, đưa đồng đội vượt vành đai giặc về đơn vị an toàn.
Trong trận chống càn ngày 20 tháng 12 năm 1963, khi 2 đại đội địch đã lọt vào trận địa ta, Võ Như Hưng cho nổ súng. Bị đánh bất ngờ, địch hoảng hốt, tán loạn. Quân ta lập tức xung phong, truy kích đến cùng. Trên đường đuổi giặc Võ Như Hưng bị thương nặng ở bụng, đạn xuyên từ phải qua trái, làm đứt nhiều khúc ruột. Mặc dù được đưa đi bệnh viện kịp thời, và đã được tận tình cứu chữa, song vết thương quá nặng, không thể nào cứu nổi. Trên giường bệnh, tới giây phút cuối cùng, đồng chí vẫn kiên trì chịu đựng không hề rên la, luôn luôn lạc quan, tin tưởng vào tiền đồ và thắng lợi của cách mạng.
Ngày 5 tháng 5 năm 1965, đồng chí Võ Như Hưng được Ủy ban trung ương Mặt trận dân tộc giải phóng miền Nam Việt Nam truy tặng Huân chương Quân công Giải phóng hạng nhì và danh hiệu Anh hùng lực lượng vũ trang nhân dân giải phóng.
