My beloved family has four people; my parents, my sister and I. My father runs his own shop at our house. His shop sales many different kinds of plants, and I love to help him taking care of them. Every morning, he wakes up early to water the trees before taking me to school. My mother is a teacher, she teaches at our local secodary school. She is an example of a beautiful and strong woman since she can perfectly balance between work and family. She always takes time to make breakfast for us before going to work. Although my father also cook dinner sometimes, I am only in love with her delicious food. My older sister is now studying at university, therefore she lives apart from us. Every weekend, she catch the bus to visit us and stay for one or two nights. We usually do all the things together, so I miss her so much when she first left home for school. I love and treasure every moment that I spend with them, and I always think that my family is the best thing that I could ever have.

As a traditional family in Vietnam, I have a big one. My family has 5 members, including Mom, Dad, Grandma, sister, and me. My mom’s name is Giang. She has long hair and black eyes. She is a teacher. My Dad’s name is Trung. He is tall and very strong. His job is doctor. For me, my mom is the most beautiful woman, and my dad is the most wonderful man. And my grandma’s name is Tam. She is 95 years old, and next 5 years, we will organize the 100th longevity wishing ceremony, and I look forward to taking part in this ceremony. Besides, another woman who I love so much is my sister. Her name is Linh. She is 26 years old, and she is a beautiful woman Mom. Now, she is living in Ha Noi capital, because of her jobs. I really love my family, and I hope that we are always together anyway.

There are four people in my family: my parents, my younger sister and I. My father is a 45-year-old engineer. He spends most of his time in the building sites. That’s why he has a tanned skin. As soon as he comes home, he turns on the television to watch the news, relaxes for a while and then he takes a shower. In case my mother doesn’t cook for the dinner yet, my father is very happy to join hand and help her. Talk about my mother, she is a 40-year-old primary school teacher. In every morning, she is the one who wakes up earliest to prepare the breakfast, clothes and necessary things for my father, me and my sister. After we leave home to work or study, my mother will have a quick breakfast and drive to the primary school. After school, she runs fast to the market, buys some fresh food and backs to home to cook lunch. My father doesn’t come home in the noon so only three of us eat and talk to each other during lunch. However, the lunch is still prepared very scrupulous. In general, my mother is a gentel caring woman and sometimes she is very strict. I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old in the next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard study. On every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule is changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time to my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chorces and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happiness moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I understand that there is nothing that is more important than my family. I love my parents and my lovely sister so much.

Sau khi tan trường mẹ tôi chạy thật nhanh đến chợ mua những thực phẩm tươi rồi về nhà nấu bữa trưa. Bố tôi không về nhà vào buổi trưa nên chỉ có ba mẹ con chúng tôi ăn uống và nói chuyện suốt bữa trưa. Dù vậy, bữa cơm vẫn được chuẩn bị rất chu đáo. Nói chung, mẹ tôi là một phụ nữ hiền lành đảm đang và đôi khi rất nghiêm khắc. Tôi có một em gái sẽ tròn 8 tuổi vào tháng 11 tới. Nó rất dễ thương, ngoan ngoãn và chăm chỉ học tập. Vào mỗi dịp cuối tuần tôi hay dẫn em đến công viên giải trí và đi ăn những cây kem tươi ngon. Chúng tôi khá thân thiết nhưng đôi khi nó làm tôi phát cáu bởi vì thói quen cẩu thả của mình. Người cuối cùng trong gia đình tôi chính là tôi. Tôi đang học năm thứ hai ngành Quản Trị Kinh Doanh tại đại học Hồng Bàng. Lịch học của tôi thường xuyên thay đổi và tôi đang cố để giành được học bổng du học Canada trong năm tới nên tôi không dành nhiều thời gian cho gia đình. Nhưng bất kì khi nào rảnh tôi luôn phụ mẹ công việc nhà và chăm sóc em gái. Trong gia đình tôi mỗi người đều có một trách nhiệm riêng nhưng chúng tôi luôn sát cánh bên nhau để tận hưởng những giây phút hạnh phúc, vượt qua thời gian khó khăn và cùng giải quyết vấn đề. Tôi hiểu rằng không có điều gì quan trọng hơn gia đình. Tôi yêu bố mẹ và cô em gái dễ thương rất nhiều.

My family consists of 4 people. There are my husband, my two little son, and I. My husband is forty-three years old, and he works as an engineer. I am a doctor. my first son is a policeman, and the second one is still a student in primary school. We all have a busy lives in day. However in the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking, sometimes watching a funny movie. Then my sons go to their own rooms. On weekend, and with spare time, my family often went on to play with parents, it is very meaningful and fun. We love each other very much and expect to live together under the same roof forever. I feel very happy to be alive in this family.
Gia đình tôi gồm có 4 người. Có chồng tôi, hai cậu con trai nhỏ của tôi và tôi nữa. Chồng tôi năm nay đã bốn mươi ba tuổi, và anh là một kỹ sư, còn tôi là một bác sĩ. Con trai đầu tiên của tôi là một cảnh sát, và va cậu út nhà tôi vẫn còn là một học sinh tiểu học. Chúng tôi đều có một cuộc sống bận rộn hàng ngày. Tuy nhiên cứ vào buổi tối sau bữa ăn tối, chúng tôi ngồi lại với nhau trong phòng khách và trò chuyện, đôi khi cùng nhau xem một bộ phim hài hước. Sau đó, con trai của tôi đều về phòng riêng của chúng. Vào ngày cuối tuần, khi có thời gian rảnh rỗi, gia đình tôi thường đến chơi với cha mẹ tôi, điều này rất có ý nghĩa và vô cùng vui vẻ. Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

Ngoài ra, nhà và đường luôn sạch sẽ, và đẹp đẽ bởi vì tất cả đều sẵn sang cho một năm mới. mọi người có không gian ấm cúng và khảong thời gian vui vẻ với các thành viên trong gia đình. Đây là thời điểm để mọi người sống ở mọi miền đất nước sum họp và dành thời gian cho nhau. Tết là cơ hội để mọi người quay trở về nhà sau những áp lực và căng thẳng từ môi trường học tập và làm việc. Tết không chỉ là một ngày lễ thong thường, nó là văn hoá à lối sống của người Việt bởi vì ý nghĩa sâu xa của nó rất thiêng liêng và quan trọng.
