Tet is the biggest traditional festival in Vietnam. This is an opportunity for people to enjoy a happy and relaxing period of time with their family and friends. There are some differences between Tet in the North and the South of Vietnam. In the North, the traditional food of Tet is Chung cake - a rectangular sky rice cake with meat, which is wrapped in phrynium. People usually buy the cakes with some cherry blossom branches as a symbol of Tet to decorate their houses. In the South, people consider apricots and Tet cakes are the symbols of Tet. Tet cake is also made from sky rice, and the inside can be sweet beans, bananas, or even meat. On New Year’s Eve, most families gather together to have a warm dinner and a traditional ritual in order to commemorate our ancestors. On the first day of New Year, youngsters will give their best greetings to oldsters and receive lucky money. In the rest time of Tet, people can go to pagodas to pray for good things, peace, and health. Tet is an important occasion for families and friends to be together after a year of hard work, and it can motivate people to try harder in the next year.

I love and take pride in my family.

My small family is always filled with my father's laughter, his mother's warm voice and brother's hyperactivity. My father was a soldier fighting in the field, still working in the military. Perhaps because of the years of struggle and training, my father became more strict and strict but also very funny and witty. On the outside, he is a tough person but on the other hand, he is very emotional. Dad is a strong pillar in the family. Dad is not only a spiritual fulcrum for mother but also all for my sisters. Un father and mother, the woman is weak, gentle and gentle. As Vietnamese women in their lives are still in this way, they endure and sacrifice without a complaint. Mother always considers family care to be happiness. For us, mother is both the friend and the greatest teacher. Parents are idols in my heart. The funniest, most active family is none other than his six-year-old brother. This year, it will enter first grade. Looking at him excitedly preparing everything for the new school year, I to meet myself of five years ago, also pure innocence that. Despite being active, she is good and very smart. My sisters and I could play together all day without boredom. If a day lacks the voice of my laughter, my family seems to be empty, especially I will miss you so much ...

My small family is so happy. There will also be difficult times or tragedy but my family will always be resilient because everyone has a heart of love and trust.

Traditional Tet is one of the most important festivals of Vietnam. Just like in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, so is the traditional New Year's Day. Traditional New Year's Day is called Lunar New Year or Lunar New Year, and is considered the most important moment of a year. The time starts on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the new year. The Lunar New Year usually falls between the end of January and the middle of February of a calendar year. Normally in Vietnam, every occasion to prepare for the Lunar New Year, everyone, whether working or going to school, has a holiday schedule. Normally, the time off is from one working week or more (for employees) and two to three days before December 30. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, prepares a tray of rice to worship ancestors. And yet, on the traditional New Year's Day, there is also a custom to visit the elderly, family members, friends and neighbors every time Tet comes. At that time, homeowners or adults will give lucky money to children and elders with wishes at the beginning of the new year of peace, prosperity, and everything as desired. This is not only a custom but also a cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, to show concern and hope for a full and peaceful life for everyone.
