Ta có:
1/1.2 + 1/3.4 + 1/5.6 + ... + 1/49.50 = 1/26 + 1/27 + 1/28 + .. + 1/50
Xét vế trái:
1/1.2 + 1/3.4 + 1/5.6 + ... + 1/49.50
= 1 - 1/2 + 1/3 - 1/4 + 1/5 - 1/6 + ... + 1/49 - 1/50
= ( 1 + 1/3 + 1/5 + ... + 1/49 ) - ( 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/6 + ... + 1/50 )
= ( 1 + 1/3 + 1/5 + ... + 1/49 ) + (1/2 + 1/4 + 1/6 + ... + 1/50 ) - 2 . ( 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/6 + ... + 1/50 )
= ( 1 + 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/4 + ...+ 1/49 + 1/50 ) - ( 1 + 1/2 + 1/3 + ... + 1/25 )
= 1/26 + 1/27 + 1/28 + ... + 1/49 + 1/50 (1)

\(=\frac{2-1}{1.2}+\frac{4-3}{3.4}+....+\frac{50-49}{49.50}\)

\(=1-\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{4}+...+\frac{1}{49}-\frac{1}{50}\)

\(=\left(1+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{5}+...+\frac{1}{49}\right)-\left(\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{6}....+\frac{1}{50}\right)\)

\(=1+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+...+\frac{1}{49}+\frac{1}{50}-2\left(\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{6}....+\frac{1}{50}\right)\)

Vậy A<\(\dfrac{1}{4}\)
