Summer vacation is the holiday period during summer season. All the schools and colleges become closed during this period because of the high environmental temperature in summer months (especially half May and full June). It becomes the hottest period of the year during summer vacation. Kids feel very happy and relax all through the vacation. Most of the students generally go to their native village, hill stations, or other cool places to enjoy with cousins, family members or village friends. Some of the kids join swimming or dancing classes to happily spend the vacation. Students are given study work for summer vacation from the school which they have to submit on opening of school.
I live in a posh area of Lahore. I love my house because it is located in a very good place in the city. My house is in the suburbs and it is a very peaceful area. There are no commercial buildings near my house and I am very happy because of this.
On the right side of my house is a big bungalow whereas on the left and back side of my house is a vacant plot. The thing which I like the most is that there is a small park right across the street, so whenever feel like walking or jogging I simply got to the park and get some fresh air.
On a whole I am quite satisfied from my neighborhood but there is no hospital near my house which has caused great distress to not only me but also to the other residents of the area. I think that there should be a hospital in my neighborhood because 2 days back one of my neighbor met with an accident on his way to home and we had to travel 30 kilometers to find a hospital. This is causing a lot of pain to the people in the area.
I am an extrovert I am meet new people and want to share my views with people. My neighborhood is actually helping me meet new people as there is also a club in the neighborhood where I go and meet new people and feel ebullient because of it.
Everything is two-faced the two faces of a coin, and so is watching TV. Watching TV has advantages.
First, it widens our knowledge. Information on TV is diverse, letting the viewers know upto-date news from all fields of life such as news about polis, socioeconomy, scientific- chnology, etc…
Second, TV serves us as a means of relaxation. Films, plays, music shows on TV are vailable all day. We can enjoy these programs at home whenever we .
Third, it is a good friend helping us kill time. Whenever we feel bored or do not know what to do. Simply turn on your TV set and you will surely feel OK soon.

Long time no see you. How are you? How about the first exam you did at school?
Tet holiday is the biggest and the most important festival in VietNam. Tet often falls between late January and early February. Before Tet, my mother and I go shopping to buy clothes, candies, flowers, fruits and decorative items. My family always cleans and decorates our house together. On the first day of Tet, I don’t go out, I stay at home and sit around the pot of Banh Chung to talk, watch fireworks with my family. On the second day, I go to my grandparents’s house with my family and they give me lucky money. It’s always a nice day because I like to meet my grandparents so much! Next, on the third day, I visit my teachers and send them New Year wishes. And my favorite most is get the lucky money from the older because it brings me lucks in the year! In between 5th and 6th grade there was one thing that I still can't forget. It was my wonderful summer vacation under my grandmother's house.
