Có rất nhiều nhóm dân tộc thiểu số sống cùng nhau ở Sapa. Nhiều năm trước, nền kinh tế của thị trấn chủ yếu dựa vào nông nghiệp. Tuy nhiên, trong những năm gần đây, cư dân địa phương đã tận dụng lợi thế của du lịch để có thu nhập cao hơn. Khách du lịch có xu hướng tham gia thị trường thị trấn nơi bán các loại hàng hóa. Cũng có nhiều trẻ nhỏ nói tiếng Anh lưu loát cố gắng bán đồ lưu niệm cho khách du lịch. Mọi người cũng bắt gặp nhiều phong tục dân tộc bắt mắt trong trang trí đầy màu sắc. Có rất nhiều cảnh đẹp ngoạn mục để ngắm cảnh của khách du lịch, như núi Hàm Rồng, thác bạc, rừng tre, hang Tả Phìn, thung lũng Mường Hoa, ... Chúng đều là những địa điểm tự nhiên tuyệt vời là lý do chính để đến Sapa. Nhờ đặc điểm địa lý, Sapa ngày càng thu hút ngày càng nhiều khách du lịch. Tóm lại, ít nhất một lần trong đời, hãy tận hưởng ở Sapa và bạn sẽ không bao giờ hối tiếc.
