Last summer holiday, my family went back to the UK and we went to a music festival on the Isle of Wight. It is one of the most famous music festival in our country, which takes place every June. When we got there, I was impressed by the huge number of people. You know about sixty thousand people went to the event. We didn't stay at the hotel but put up a tent at the campsite. It was lots of fun. We listened to a lot of songs by many bands such as the Killers and the Stone Roses. Guess what? We met Jon Bon Jovi!He's my Dad's favourite singer. He and his band stirred up the crowd in nearly three hours with the hit songs. We also went to the Bohemian Woods, a beautiful woodlard down by the. river. There we enjoyed a mix of good music from around the world and escaped the busy and noisy festival for a while.

My name is John, and this is my story. Last year just before Christmas my family and our cousin and uncle and aunt decided to go to Perth for holiday. We went in two cars but when we were about halfway there my uncle wanted to turn round and come back. He said it was too far, and it was terribly hot too, one day it was 48

hot. Anyway, what we decided to do was to drive back about 160 km to a place where the train went through. Then we put both cars on the train and we all went to Peth by train. That was fun. It was a good train.
We had a good time in Perth but we had to cut our holiday short. You see, while we were there my grandmother (my mother’s mother) in Melbourne died. Most of us flew back but but my Dad and my uncle came on the train with the cars and then had to drive back to Melbourne from Port Pirie.
It was a really strange holiday because nothing went the way we planned it.

Hi . I'm on holiday in Nha Trang with my family. We arrived last Sunday. The first day the weather was very nice,so we went to see a sightseeing. I took lots of photographs. On Monday,we hired a car and drove out into the country. We stopped for lunch at a lovely little village and then in the afternoon we found a beautiful beach. Last night , we went to the cinema. After some time , we came to a hill . It was green and beautiful. We thought this was a good place for a picnic , so we stopped and took the food , fruit and drinks out of the bus . We sat down and began to eat . Studdenly a strong wind blew and soon it started to rain . We had to run back to the bus and have our meal in the bus . Then we drove back home . What a sad trip !
