Hi. My name’s Phuong Linh, and I’m 16 years old. I’m from Nam Dinh, but I live in Ha Noi now. I live with my parents and little sister in a small house in Thanh Xuan District. I’m a student, and I want to study hard to go to university. At school, my favourite subjects are Maths and English. My hobby is reading books. My dream is to own a book shop, where I can review the best books for my customers. Next year, I will find a part-time job related to books, or I will join a summer camp. Ha Long Bay, located in the Gulf of Tonkin, within Quang Ninh Province, in northeast Vietnam, is 165 km from the capital of Ha Noi. Covering an area of 43,400 ha and including over 1600 islands and islets, most of which are uninhabited and unaffected by humans, it forms a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. It is a fantastic place for people who love nature and the ocean, so many tourists visit it every year. Of all seasons, summer is my favorite because I can relax by going on a vacation. Like many people, I enjoy going on vacation during summer. This year, I went to Da Lat city with my family. It took us about 6 hours to go there by train. We visited many well-known tourist attractions in Da Lat, such as the Valley of Love, Truc Lam Zen Monastery, and some waterfalls. Additionally, we went to the local market to try many tasty dishes and buy some souvenirs. After 4 days, we went to our hometown. To sum up, the trip to Da Lat city was very memorable. Hopefully, I can go back there again in the future. Finally, I think this vacation is necessary because it helps us relax and rest after a hard-working year.

Last summer, my family went to Phu Quoc for our vacation. We flew to Phu Quoc from Hanoi and stayed in a resort near the beach. Every day, we went swimming and walked on the beautiful beach. One day, we went on a Safari and to a water park. It was interesting to see wild animals. At that weekend, we took a bus to the central market. We tried local food and bought a lot of souvenirs. On the next day, we visited a fishing village. The fishermen were very friendly. They taught us how to catch fish and weave the fishing net. In the afternoon, we went to a farm where people grow pepper. We took a lot of photos. It was an amazing trip!
