As Tet approaches, I'm buzzing with excitement about the upcoming holiday! Before Tet, I'll be busy cleaning and decorating the house, getting everything ready for the festivities. On the eve of Tet, I plan to gather with close friends for a cozy dinner, welcoming the new year together.
During Tet, on the 1st day, I'll visit my grandparents with my family, enjoying a traditional meal and catching up. On the 2nd day, a group of friends and I are planning a day trip to the countryside, exploring and savoring the festive atmosphere. Finally, on the 3rd day, I'll attend a vibrant local festival with friends, celebrating the joy of Tet.

I know many festivals but the one I like the most is Tet. It is the most important festival in Vietnam. Tet is celebrated every year on January 1 of the lunar calendar. When Tet comes, we are 1 year old. Before Tet, family members will go to buy food, fruit, and flowers. And they also buy decorations and cherry blossom lines. People will decorate the house, and they will place the potted peach blossom tree in the right front position of the house. They also make banh chung, the traditional dish of our country. During Tet, everyone in the family will gather together and tell each other about the past years in order to enter a better New Year together. They will eat the same banh chung. After that, we will visit relatives and neighbors. And our children will receive lucky money. On New Year's Eve, everyone can watch the colorful fireworks in the sky together. I love Tet, every year I look forward to Tet, to see my loved ones again

`\text{I took up this habit about 2 years ago. At that time, I was up to my ears with study to prepare for my graduation examination so I was a little bit stressed out. Then I thought that I needed to do something energetic to release some stress, so I decided to have a crack at jogging.}`
`\text{At first, doing this was quite challenging for me because I led a sedentary lifestyle. I just sat in front of my computer every day to complete my assignments. But after a few days of suffering from muscle aches, I got used to jogging and kept doing it in the evenings.}`
`\text{Well, I have to say that this sport has helped me a lot in strengthening my physical health as well as my mental health. Thanks to jogging, I was able to lose my fat belly and get lean. Now, to be honest, I’m quite satisfied with my youthful appearance and trying to maintain it. Also, jogging allows me to unwind and enjoy fresh air, and whenever I go jogging I feel like my mind is being refreshed.}`

. My family usually has a day off on the 28th of the New Year, so my parents often go to buy peach branches and kumquat trees on this day.
- Why it takes place?
=>Lunar New Year is a typical Tet holiday and depends on each country
- What the people do during this festival?

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, I wore new clothes with my parents to wish them New Year's Eve, and received lucky money from grandparents and uncles at the beginning of the year. All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods. Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

There are some tips to save power which I think are very easy to apply. Firstly, We should use energy saving light bulbs in our house. It will help US to reduce our electricity bill. Secondly, we should use public transport if we need to go long distance. We can use bicycles for short distances. Ỉ think it is good for our health and economical. And remember, before going to bed, we should turn off all lights and other unused electrical devices. It's an easy way to save our planet
