Living in the countryside has both advantages and disadvantages. The environment in the countryside is often much cleaner than in the city. In rural areas, there is usually less traffic and environmental pollution, so people can breathe fresh air and there is less risk of accidents. The cost of living in the countryside is usually cheaper, so it is an ideal place to raise children. In the countryside, the crime rate is also lower than in the city. Despite such benefits, the countryside has several significant disadvantages. The most significant disadvantage is the bad education system. Children are not provided with facilities to learn, they do not have access to modern education. Another disadvantage is the high unemployment rate. The main occupation in rural areas is agriculture, which makes it impossible for young people to earn enough money to meet their needs. To sum up, living has benefits and drawbacks. Nowadays, large cities are becoming more and more inhabited. The majority of the population prefer living in a big town mainly because of the great advantages it has compared to living in the countryside. However, what are the benefits of this situation, and what are the drawbacks? In this essay, I will explore the pros and cons of living in a large city and try to draw some conclusions.
Let’s start looking at the advantages. One of the main positives of a big town is the large amount of shops available in every corner of the city. What I mean by this is that whenever you live, there are some useful stores like supermarkets, banks, tobacconists and clothing stores where you can easily buy everything you need without going to the city center. Secondly, living in a big town is a big challenge for evening parties. In London, for example, there are so many things to do in the evenings like going to the cinema, to the pub or to the park during the summer period.
Turning to the other side of the argument, traffic could be one of the major disadvantages of living in a big city. Many people take the car everyday and it has also been proved that the majority of the families have at least two cars. This means that you have to deal with rush-hour traffic on your way to work and on your way back. In addition, in a big town there is consequently a lot of smog and this can really affect people’s health.
To sum up, living in a big city has great advantages but also some significant negatives.You have to weigh up to the pros of enjoying evenings’ nights outside and the availability of many shops and the cons of cope with smog and traffic issues. Personally, I believe that the benefits of enjoying the city-life and the comfort of having shops at every corner, eventually overweigh the negatives.

Living in the countryside has a lot of advantages, but also many disadvantages. As the advantage we can consider the fact that the country is less polluted and the traffic isn't so heavy. You are fit and you don't need to worry about your health condition, because in the countryside the air and water are so clean. In the country there are many plant species. There aren't any huge blocks of flats, modern skyscrapers or bothersome traffic jams. In the country you are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. You can enjoy walking in the forest and picking mushrooms or hunting. Another advantage is that you may easily build a big house and the garden, because charges for ground are much lower than in the suburbs. Moreover, living in the countryside is cheaper than it is in the city, so you probably may afford many other things, because the prices are lower. What is more, you can invite your friends to the barbecue organized in your garden. It would be great! The other positive side is the safety. In the rural area the crime rate is much lower. There aren't a lot of housebreaks and the possibility of burglary is also lower. In the countryside people usually and keep eyes on neighbour's estates. They always react when something strange is happening. Country life is very peaceful and silent. You will enjoy the feeling of peace.
However, there are a lot of positive aspects of living in the country side, there are also some disadvantages. Living in the country is slower. People don't need to hurry and have a lot of time. People in the country don't have to work so many hours as they do in the city. On the other hand, they don't earn so much money. Moreover, there aren't such interesting things to do during free time. The unemployment rate is also much higher than in the city. The problem may be also the communication. If you don't have your own car, you may have problem how to commute to work. The same problem concerns the access to the hospitals, schools, police stations and shops, which are usually located far from the village. Last of all, there are some dangers connected with country life such as heavy snowfall or rainfall.
To sum up, I think that living in the country may have a lot of advantages such as fresh air, breathtaking landscapes and comfort, but a lot of people decide to stay in the city, due to the fact that the life in the town is easier. The easy access to shops and other institutions are the great advantage.

I was born and grow up in the countryside. And I enjoy the feeling when living in the rural. Because when live in the countryside I feel fresh and peaceful it makes me very comfortable. People here are very friendly and kind. In our countryside, there are not as many houses and vehicles as in the city. Most people mainly travel by bicycle or motorbike. Here, there are many gardens and rivers. We can grow vegetables or raise chicken to raise fish....on our own. And in the countryside,they also plants a lot of trees and even fruit trees unlike in the city have to go the market. I think you should take a trip to the countryside and it would be great!

Living in the countryside is really good for your life because of these reasons:- First, living in the country can bring you a clean evironment. The air is fresher and there are lots oftrees, rice fields and rivers, you can walk on the fields or along the rivers to enjoy the clean and fresh airthere in the early morning.- Second, living in the countryside is cheaper than in the city because people there have lower income anddon’t have the habit of spending a lot of money. If you live in the country, you can save a lot of money.- Finally, people in the country are more friendly and opener than people in the city because they live neareach other. Living in the countryside is very wonderful! Why do I say that? Just because there are so many advantages of that thing. First, when you live in the countryside, you can enjoy the fresh air everytime. You can try a lot of fresh foods, such as: vegetables, fish, many kind of meats, ect... Second, we can even develop or produce them. In the countryside, there are a lot of trees, flowers, paddie fields or rivers, so every afternoon, you can play so many games playing marbles, skipping, flying a kite, ...ect even on the road because traffic in the countryside isn't chao in the city. So that, do you want to try living in the countryside?

If we had giant air cleaner, we'd improve health, but it'd be costly. If food packaging could be eaten, it wouldn't require recycling, but it could cause allergy.

Đầu tiên, sống trong thành phố, chúng ta có thể được hưởng những lợi ích sau:
- Hệ thống thông tin liên lạc và giao thông tốt hơn. Có rất nhiều phương tiện liên lạc và vận chuyển để chúng ta có thể lựa chọn những phương tiện mà mình thích nhất. Chúng tôi có thể liên lạc với nhân viên cứu hỏa hoặc nói chuyện với anh ta qua điện thoại mà không cần phải ra khỏi nhà.
- Nhờ có điện lưới, có nước sinh hoạt, đời sống vật chất của chúng ta thoải mái hơn. Siêu thị, chợ và cửa hàng được tìm thấy ở khắp mọi nơi và chúng ta có thể mua bất cứ thứ gì chúng ta cần mà chúng ta có thể mua được.
- Cuộc sống đô thị cung cấp cho chúng ta tất cả các loại hình giải trí: truyền hình, radio, phim ảnh, rạp hát, buổi hòa nhạc và các trung tâm giải trí nổi tiếng.
- Sống trong thị trấn, chúng ta có thể nâng cao kiến thức của mình một cách dễ dàng bằng cách tham dự bất kỳ trường học, trường đại học hoặc các lớp học buổi tối nơi các giáo viên và giáo sư giàu kinh nghiệm sẵn sàng thỏa mãn cơn khát kiến thức của chúng ta.
Bên cạnh những ưu điểm, cuộc sống đô thị cũng có những nhược điểm:
- Sức khỏe của chúng ta đang bị đe dọa: ô nhiễm bởi các nhà máy và giao thông đông đúc có thể gây ra các bệnh nghiêm trọng cho tất cả chúng ta.
- Ảnh hưởng xấu đến thế hệ trẻ là không thể tránh khỏi.
- Những cái chết do bạo lực xảy ra thường xuyên trong một thành phố đông đúc với đủ loại phương tiện như vậy.
Ngược lại, cuộc sống ở nông thôn có vẻ lý tưởng với người xưa.
- Được tận hưởng không khí trong lành, mát mẻ và ngắm nhìn cảnh đẹp non nước.
- Chúng tôi thật an toàn và thích thú biết bao khi có thể ngủ ngon vào bất kỳ thời điểm nào trong ngày mà không bị tiếng còi xe hay tiếng ồn chói tai từ nhà máy làm phiền.
- Đời sống xã hội của chúng ta ở trong nước dễ dàng hơn: chúng ta có thể ăn thực phẩm và rau quả chúng ta trồng, gà và dê chúng ta nuôi. Những người đồng hương sống rất giản dị và họ nhanh chóng giúp đỡ lẫn nhau trong mọi trường hợp.
Ngoài những thuận lợi đó, cuộc sống nơi đất khách quê người có thể gặp rất nhiều khó khăn:
- Giao thông đi lại bị cản trở do thiếu phương tiện đi lại do lũ lụt trong mùa mưa lũ.
- Kiến thức của chúng tôi còn hạn chế do thiếu các phương tiện thông tin đại chúng.
- Đời sống xã hội và vật chất của chúng tôi không thoải mái như ở thị trấn vì thiếu điện và chăm sóc y tế.
Tóm lại, tình yêu của chúng ta đối với cuộc sống thị trấn hay cuộc sống nông thôn phụ thuộc vào cách nhìn và độ tuổi của chúng ta. Còn tôi, tôi luôn thích cuộc sống thành thị hơn.
