It took hundreds of thousands of years for the world population to grow to 1 billion. However, in just another two centuries, it grew sevenfold. You know, in 2011, the total population of the world reached 7 billion. And today, it's about 7.5 billion. Tokyo, with 37.8 million residents, continues to be the largest city in the world in terms of population.

Advances in modern medicine are the main cause of this dramatic growth in the world population. It helps the birth rates increase and the death rates decline. The second contributor is the improvement in living standards. This leads to the rise of global lifespan, from 64.8 years in the early 1990s to 70.0 years today. Last but not least, the number of women of reproductive age is increasing day by day.

However, the rapid population growth can lead to the shortage in medical and educational facilities and services. The population grows fast so the demand for energy also increases. Therefore, energy shortages are also a big problem. In addition, air, water and land pollution caused by growing population in big cities has bad effects on people's health

I live in Vietnam and there are a lot of traffic problems in big cities in my country. Firstly, there are too many people using the roads especially in the rush hour when people run out to work and school or get home from those places. Secondly, there are too many vehicles on the road that leads to traffic jams. Another problem is that many roads are narrow and bumpy. Fourthly, there are traffic accidents every day so a lot of people lose their lives or are injured. So in order to travel on the roads safely, I think we should obey the traffic rules and traffic signs as well. Moreover, carefulness is very necessary.

Nowadays, overpopulation is still a problem for many country, not just because it causes many nuisane problems but it also effects badly to our life.
First of all, there will be shortage of accomodation, it will be no house for everyone, so they have to live in the slums - where can be very dangerous and unconvenient for people.
Second, medical care equipments will not have good quality, and bad healthcare will not help us in this world - where has so many dangerous disease like now.
Lastly, Crime can be a problem. When they need money badly for their poor life, there will be crime. Criminals can be limit, but it won't last for long.

In conclusion, an overcrowded world is a big problem.

Everyone in my family is very busy. The time everyone can see each other is at meals. Therefore, my mother always carefully prepared the meal. I often help mom with cooking in my spare time. After we set the food on the table, I called my dad and brother to eat. We will wish everyone a delicious meal. My dad will tell us about interesting things when he goes to work. My mother often talks about the things she just bought. My brother and I laughed happily too. Because my dad works so hard, he can eat a lot. I love the food my mom cooks. I hope I can cook as well as my mother. After eating, she will prepare me and my brother with fresh milk. I don’t like drinking milk very much but my mom said it would be good for me. My family’s meals are simple but always full of laughter. I love my family.
