Today if there is any institution which has the greatest influence on us after the family, it is the school. The time that we spend in school are not only time spent in learning and filling our minds with knowledge, but also time spent forming our character, acquiring various attitudes and imbibing basic principles of life. The basic traits of our personality are formed during our school days.
The name of my school is Nguyen Binh Khiem High School. It is situated in the suburb of Hai Phong city. It is considered to be one of the finest schools in the city, highly acclaimed for its excellent for number of talented students. The school building is an impressive structure. It consists of four three – floor blocks and has about 36 classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and airy.
Two staircases at both ends lead to the floors. The school has a well-equipped library, a well- established science laboratory and two excellent computer room, all of which are situated on the a separate block.
There is an area for learning physical education and sports. Two cemented basketball courts stand in the right corner, while the school’s football field is in the center of the area. On the left center, there are two courts for badminton and volleyball. A small garden full of flower plants surrounds the school building adding to the charm and beauty of the entire complex.
My school has over 1200 students. Our headmaster is an experienced and efficient person who has been at his job for the last 10 years and more. Under his able direction, the school has been obtaining many good result and gain the dispute in the city. The teachers here are well-experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects.
A lot of emphasis are given to character formation, moral education and acquiring good values of life. Although the school environment is rather strict and time-table based, but there is lot of fun and joy in the school. Matches, tournaments, musical shows, competitions, events, etc. make my school life lively, interesting and enjoyable.
I am proud to be a student of Nguyen Binh Khiem High school.

I and Hung are team mates in our school’s soccer team, and that is the reason we became best friends. At first we did not know each other, but we quickly became close after just a few weeks. Hung is a good player, so he always helps me prace to improve my skills. In order to thank him, I become his instructor in some of the subjects in class. I am as tall and slim as Hung, and many people say that we look brothers. In fact, we are even closer than brothers. We can share almost everything, from feelings to clothes and hobbies. I always proud of our friend ship, and we will keep it this as long as we can.

Every weekend, my father takes me to the grandparents’ house in the suburb. I am very happy to see them again after a long week and so do they. During war, my grandfather was a solider. He often tells me about his fighting battles, the valuable of freedom and peace. Postwar, he became a postman and also a poet. He wrote many poems but they were never published. Now he is retired so he has a lot of time to plant trees in the garden, take care of his birds and sometimes climb the mountain with his old friends. My grandmother has been a tailor who has more than 40 years’ experience. I really love the blue dress which she herself made for me in my 16th birthday. Besides that, she is a good teller. She tells me about her love stories when she was young. They are beautiful, roman but so sad. In addition, my grandmother is very good at cooking. She knows how to cook many different country dishes that suprises the whole family. While we are enjoying the meal, my grandfather reads poems, my grandmother tells stories and I am a listener. Those are the most happinest moments of my life. In conlusion, I love my grandparents so much, more than anything in the world.

In our class , I have many friends but my best friend is Hoan . He is twelve years old . He lives in Phu Phuc village with her parents . He has short black hair . Hoan has a round face . His eyes are black and big . Hoan has small nose and small white teeth . His favourite color is red . He is very talkative , so Hoan always on the phone chatting to friends . He is also sporty . My best friend is Linh.she is 13 years old.she is tall and slim.she has long black hair,a white skin,a round face and big black eyes.she is very funny,she often makes our class laugh.she is also helpful and friendly.in the class,she is a serious and hard-working student.Linh good at many subjects so she helps me a lot.If i have a difficult exercise,she will tell me how to do it. we spend most of our time together. Gia đình em có bốn thành viên, ba, mẹ, em và anh trai. Em là con út trong gia đình nên được mọi người hết mực cưng chiều, yêu thương, đặc biệt là anh trai em, người anh mà em hết mực yêu quý, người anh luôn đem lại cho em cảm giác an toàn, luôn bảo vệ em.
Anh em hơn em 4 tuổi, mọi người ai cũng khen ngợi anh em vì rất ra dáng làm anh. Ngày em mới sinh, anh trai mới có bốn tuổi thôi nhưng đã biết phụ mẹ trông em. Em cũng thừa nhận mình là một cô bé khá bướng bỉnh nên anh phải nhường nhịn em rất nhiều.
Dáng người anh cao ráo, da hơi ngăm đen vì anh cũng mê chơi lắm, hay nô nghịch nữa. Anh có đôi mắt đen nháy, mái tóc mượt và quá dỗi dày nên anh phải cắt tóc rất thường xuyên.
Anh trai em học rất giỏi, các thầy cô giáo đều khen ngợi anh rất thông minh, tiếp thu bài nhanh lại hay hăng hái tham gia phát biểu ý kiến. Việc đoàn thể trong lớp anh tham gia rất nhiệt tình nên rất được các thầy cô và bạn bè yêu quý.
Ở nhà tuy còn nhỏ, nhưng dường như anh rất hiểu trách nhiệm của bản thân là người anh cả trong gia đình, luôn luôn quan tâm, săn sóc cho tôi. Hàng ngày ba mẹ bận đi làm, anh đều một mình đảm nhiệm công việc nhà, dọn dẹp nhà cửa, nấu cơm, băm bèo thái rau cho lợn, còn đưa đón tôi đi học, tối đến anh còn dành thời gian giúp tôi học bài.
Tôi nhớ, có một lần tôi bị các anh chị lớp trên bắt nạt, anh tôi đến rất kịp thời, bảo vệ tôi, anh tôi không đánh hay chửi nhau với họ, chỉ nói khuyên nhủ họ, anh rất dõng dạc: “Em gái tao, tao không cho phép ai bắt nạt hêt” khiến tôi thấy cảm động vô cùng.
Tôi rất tự hào vì có một người anh như anh, tôi cảm ơn anh rất nhiều vì co anh, tôi không thấy sợ sệt bất cứ chuyện gì. Anh là một người anh trai thực thụ, tôi yêu thương anh rất nhiều, tôi mong những điều tốt đẹp sẽ đến với anh.
Anh Lợi là học sinh lớp 9 Trường Trung học cơ sở Yên Hoà. Năm nay anh 15 tuổi, anh ăn rất khoẻ, học rất chăm. Mẹ em hay đùa: ‘‘Nhà ta có ông Trạng Cơm”. Anh chỉ cười khì.
Tóc anh cắt ngắn, vầng trán cao, cặp mắt đen lay láy, lúc nào cũng mở to. Anh có nước da trắng hồng, rất đẹp. Anh ham đọc sách, rất giỏi Toán và giỏi Tiếng Anh. Tủ sách của anh có hơn 200 quyển, anh xếp cẩn thận, giữ gìn, nâng niu từng cuốn một. Anh đang tích cực học và ôn luyện để thi vào lớp 10 chuyên Toán trường Trung học phổ thông Chu Văn An. Tối nào anh cũng học đến 11 giờ. Sáng nào anh cũng dậy lúc 6 giờ. Hễ chuông đồng hồ báo thức reo lên là anh dậy gấp chăn màn, tập thể dục rồi ôn bài,.. chuẩn bị đi học.
Anh có một số bạn tâm giao, học giỏi. Tiếng ồ ồ nhưng anh lại hay hát. Anh bảo luyện giọng để thi đơn ca toàn quốc! Mẹ và em cùng cười khi nghe anh nói thế. Em rất yêu quý người anh trai của mình.
