Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Almost everyone in the house will have a traditional custom. My house also has and I think everyone's customs will be similar to mine, that is, every 30 New Year's Eve my house is cleaned. 1. My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

My house is not very large, but it's nice and clean.In front of my house,the yard is green with many bonsais. When a visitor comes, he will be greeted in the living room. The room has four armchairs and a long table. The food is cooked in kitchen. It is behind the living room and smaller. I like best my bedroom. It is decorated by many posters of famous singers. The shelf in my room has many books because I love reading very much. The garden is behind the house. There are many trees and flowers in the garden. Festival
There are many festival in the world but i like sakura festival best. thể are many reasons why i like it.This is a traditional Japanese festival called Hanami, which usually takes place in late March and early April.
Hanami is a word compounded by Hana meaning flower and mi means to look. Hanami means watching and admiring flowers. This festival is one of the oldest festivals in Japan for thousands of years and is an indispensable feature of Japanese culture.
Cherry blossom is the national flower of the sunrise. It symbolizes purity, fragility and purity.
The chore of cherry blossoms has been formed since the days of Nara, beginning with the arrival of several gods bearing the blossoming sprats of the emperor on the occasion of the beginning of spring. My favorite movie of all time is Titanic. It is the best love story I have ever watched. I watched this movie many times but I never got tired watching it. Whenever I watch it, I always cry.
The reasons I like it so much are the grand scenery and the romantic content. The film is about the love story of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. Jack was a free-spirited poor young man but he got a ticket for a luxurious ship, Titanic. Rose was from the American upper class and was engaged to a man. She was reluctant to marry him. She met Jack in Titanic and they fell deeply in love even there was a huge gap between them.
Titanic was headed to America from England. However, the ship crashed into an iceberg on the way. The side of it broke up and the ship was flooded. Not everyone could escape safely. Many people dead include Jack. Rose was survived because Jack helped her to climb on a boat. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. Although It was only a classical sad love story, it encompassed a large range of emotions, laughter, rage, terror and the feeling of deep love. I was touched and especially appreciate the love between them. They both tried to save each other. It showed the power of love could do everything.
I think the movie had the exellent content which was based on a real story. The two main actor and actress Leonardo and Kate had an outstanding performance. Beside, the scenery and the stage properties really made me amazed. From the big ship to the small cushions at Rose’s room, they were all delicate. Last but not least, the great theme song “My heart will go on” by Celine Dion marked the end of the story. Even Jack leave Rose forever, her heart will keep going on.
This is the best movie I have ever watched. No wonder why Titanic already won 11 Academy Awards. I recommend that everyone should watch this movie at least once.

There is a famous animated film that I think everyone of us has seen at least once, and it is Tom and Jerry. Almost everyone is aware of the story between the miserable Tom and the mischievous mouse Jerry, and it also was part of my childhood memories. The film is about a life under the same roof between two enemies Tom and Jerry, and of course cat and mouse are always hard to get along with. Tom's owner is very afraid mouse, so she always asks Tom to catch the little mouse living in a cave that he digs on the wall. Tom is a quite lazy cat, and he often has to chase Tom so that he is not scolded by his owner or in exchange for a good meal. Sometimes, Jerry also makes mischievous jokes to tease Tom such as pull out his hair or steal his milk. Another character in the movie is the dog Spike, and he does not seem to like Tom at all. In the chasing scenes of the two main characters, they sometimes run to the garden - Spike's residence - and disturb his sleep. Most of the time, Tom would be the one who suffers Spike's anger while Jerry is having a big laugh. The plot is simple but the film Tom and Jerry always attracts a lot of audiences of all ages thanks to the lovely characters and funny circumstances. Although many years have gone by, the television channels have often displayed this film, and this is the indispensable spiritual food children.
Tet is the most important celebration in Viet Nam.It occurs in late January or early February.Some days before Tet ,people clean and decorate their house with flower and picture.They go shopping to buy cakes ,new clothes and many other things.During Tet,people enjoy traditional food such as:sticky rice cakes,Nem ,Gio and fruit jam.On the first day of the Tet people often go to the pagoda or church to pray a happy new year.Then they visit their relatives,neighbors,and
friends.Children wear new clothes and receive lucky money.Tet is very funny.l love Tet so much.
